Some finished photos of this little fell pony stablemate! He was quite fun to work on and experiment with as I try to focus more on subtle details with acrylics rather than pastels. Not the most 'eye-popping' piece comparatively, but I always enjoy painting shaded black horses.

10/12/2023

A quick photo of this evening’s progress! I’ve been spending some time on them at night in between studying for finals. The fell pony is done minus gloss, and Sir Billiam is ready for a round of sealer before I continue his details. I was hoping to finish both before winter break, but I’ll probably have to leave Billiam since he still needs so much work.

Since this little one didn't sell at auction, I've decided to list her for straight sale instead :). She'll be available through Facebook, MHSP, and Model Horse Place.

Price: $95 + Shipping

MHSP Link: https://modelhorsesalespages.com/view.asp?id=1571234

She is a customized Scrambling Foal stablemate with a head swap from the Cantering Foal stablemate. She's been painted my myself, Nadia Paige of Clear Vizion Studio, to a black blanket appaloosa. She has detailed eyes and hooves, chestnuts, and glossed eyes/nostrils/hooves. She is plastic and has been prepped by myself with all seams sanded smooth. I will not claim LSQ, but my work consistently places and champs at live shows, including NAN qualified shows across the country. I personally wouldn't hesitate to show her.

If you have any questions or would like more photos, please don't hesitate to reach out!

A quick sneak-peek at my next sales piece! This little lady will be up for sale in about a week or so. If you're interested, make sure to keep an eye out for the listing!

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 03/12/2023

Next up finished is the stablemate scale Standing Thoroughbred, painted by myself to a chestnut tobiano! I had a *lot* of fun working on him in the past week, especially when I was experimenting with his base color. Chestnut has always been my nemesis, but I'm very happy with how he turned out. I also enjoyed playing around with his pattern, which was loosely inspired by a real horse I knew awhile back.

I also decided to shorten his ears during the prepping stage since the original sculpt's were so long. I definitely look forward to painting more chestnuts in the future! Now I just need to try it on micro scale and see if I can further reduce the pastel grain.

Stopping point for tonight! I’m very happy with how smooth and light his color is coming out (and how minimal the grain is). I decided to try a new technique for painting chestnuts, so I’m excited to see how it goes!

I've decided to try Model Horse Place to list some of my painted pieces for offers/auctions, so this one is my first try!

This little filly is up for auction with a starting bid of $95 and no reserve. She is a customized scrambling foal SM with a head swap from the cantering foal SM. She's been painted my myself, Nadia Paige of Clear Vizion Studio, to a black blanket appaloosa. She has detailed eyes and hooves, chestnuts, and glossed eyes/nostrils/hooves. Donner is still available for sale with a reduced price! He's had some minor updates since his previous listing, including re-painted tail ribbons, added gloss, and chestnuts. I'd love for this lad to go to a new home!

Price: $95 + Shipping

He has been painted to a light grey with detailed eyes and hooves, extensive acrylic detailing, and layers of pastel to blend it all together. He is cast resin (not 3D print) and has been prepped by myself with all seams sanded smooth and divots filled. No print lines, supports, etc. He came to me broken off of his base at the fetlocks and was repaired with wire reinforcements and superglue/baking soda. He's now situated sturdily on his base and I don't foresee him breaking in the future. I will not claim LSQ, but my work consistently places and champs at live shows, including NAN qualified shows across the country. I personally wouldn't hesitate to show him.

Finished photos of the lovely Versek medallion. I received him as a gift, and it was wonderful to paint him. The sculpt has so many amazing details, and I must say that I'm proud of the butterfly 😅

Personal piece, not for sale

Duke did well at his first show this weekend with a double NAN! Thank you to his owner for allowing me to share 😊

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 03/11/2023

Some more work on the Croi! She’s on layer two now and I’m pretty happy with how she looks. The dapples are about as blended as I wanted, so the next steps are lightening her face and adding some detail. I might also do a fully-pasteled mane and tail for the because I’m loving the soft look.

Diminutive Duke, Dark Bay

Sold

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 29/10/2023

Weekends (particularly Sundays) seem to be my most productive days, so I thought I’d share my current WIPs! All are at different stages. The foal and fell pony still need more acrylic detailing such as hooves, mane/tail, etc. The mini Croi is on her first layer of pastels after 4 hours of base coloring and dappling. She’s very, very rough right now but I’m hoping a layer of sealer, some blending, and more pastel will help out.

MHSP Link: https://modelhorsesalespages.com/view.asp?id=1566328

This little guy has been painted to a dark bay with a single sock and star, detailed/glossed eyes and hooves, chestnuts, and a painted base. His coat is rich with shading and he has hand-painted pastel details on his face. He is pewter (not 3D printed) and has been prepped by myself with all seems sanded smooth and divots filled. He has no print lines, support nubs, etc. I will not claim LSQ, but my work consistently places and champs at live shows, including NAN qualified shows across the country. I personally wouldn't hesitate to show him.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

I haven't had a lot of time to paint lately, but this little lad has been finished and will be up for sale soon!

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 16/10/2023

Some progress made over the weekend! I’m super excited to finally start on these two. The fell pony will be solid black with some sunburnt tones and slightly more dramatic shading. Since it’s a more “simple” color with no chrome, I want to try and add as much detail as I can. The foal is coming along nicely too and will get a blanket Appaloosa pattern based on a reference I found online. I might try to add a little more light shading but the reference is also pretty dark, so we’ll see.

14/10/2023

I had the chance to get some details done on this one last night. It’s nice to see it with some color, although I may consider giving the background a bit more of a sunset effect and re-do the little mane tendrils I added. It definitely looks much nicer in person. My camera is not liking the lighting right now, hence why I haven’t posted finished pictures of Duke yet 😅

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 07/10/2023

This guy has taken me a very, very long time to finish, so I'm glad he's finally done 😅. Between re-sculpting his mane and tail and dealing with sealer issues I think it's been about 3-4 months since I first picked him up.

He has a more medium/red, neutral bay coat with hints of gold, detailed/glossed eyes and hooves, and a fun little face marking. His mane and tail were dremeled off and re-sculpted in near-identical positions to the original, but with thicker hair and more details. I mainly wanted to practice my sculpting skills while the summer weather was too hot to paint, so I opted for the simple look.

Despite all the frustrations, I'm pretty happy with how he turned out!

30/09/2023

I was scrolling through my page today and suddenly realized that I now have over 600 followers! I have no idea when it happened, but I wanted to say ”Thank you!” to everyone who supports me. Every comment, reaction, and follow means a lot, and I greatly appreciate all of you helping me build my business over the past few years 😊

This lad is now finished and up for sale! He's the micro mini Donner sculpted by Maggie Jenner-Bennett and painted by myself, Nadia Paige of Clear Vizion Studio.

Price: $115 PPD

(MHSP link in the comments!)

Donner has been painted to a light grey with detailed eyes and hooves, chestnuts*, extensive acrylic detailing, and layers of pastel to blend it all together. He is cast resin (not 3D print) and has been prepped by myself with all seams sanded smooth and divots filled. No print lines, supports, etc. He came to me broken off of his base at the fetlocks and was repaired with wire reinforcements and superglue/baking soda. *Note: Chestnuts were painted on after the photos were taken.

Some closer-up photos of the WIPs I shared last night! The lighting was much nicer today. The Django looks much nicer in person, I think the shade of bay just hates me 😂

24/09/2023

Made some more progress today! Donner is finished pending gloss/final photos, and Duke got a few layers of pastel. I also got three layers on the medallion to their right, plus some shading on the Django (not pictured). Donner will likely be for sale at some point in the next week or so.

Catnap, Cremello (Sold)

Finally got the first layer on this lady! Mainly acrylics, but I also added some pastel. Lots of detail work to go.

**SOLD**

Offering this little dude up for sale! He's been finished for quite a few days, but I finally had the chance to take finished photos. He is the micro mini Catnap sculpted by Maggie Jenner-Bennett and painted by myself, Nadia Paige of Clear Vizion Studio.

Price: $115 PPD

(MHSP link in the comments!)

Catnap has been painted to a cremello with detailed/glossed eyes and hooves, chestnuts, subtle acrylic detailing, and a layer of Pearl Ex for the traditional cremello sheen. He is pewter (not 3D print) and has been prepped by myself with all seams sanded smooth and divots filled. No print lines, supports, etc. I will not claim LSQ, but my work consistently places and champs at live shows, including NAN qualified shows across the country. I'm not planning to sell too many painted models in the near future, but I've intended for him to be a sales piece for awhile.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! He will ship either this Saturday or next Monday for an extra few days of curing. (The weather will also be much cooler next week).

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 02/09/2023

The weather was *finally* decent enough to seal today! 86 degrees and 61% of humidity, both a point or two above my normal comfort zone, but good enough. I managed to do a quick seal and run them inside before any fogging occurred (yay!). I’m not sure how darker colors will do (lighter ones don’t fog as much) but I’m hoping the drier, cooler weather will continue. I hope to make some more progress on them tonight or tomorrow.

15/08/2023

Just a small micro that I had a bit of time to work on today 🙂

He was originally going to be some sort of buckskin/palomino, but I decided last minute to go the cremello route since I haven’t seen one in that color yet. Still lots to do, he got acrylic, pink pastels, and some Pearl Ex today. I need to seal before continuing, but it’ll likely be a few weeks before that’s possible 😅

12/08/2023

The crew arrived safely! I’ll have to give everybody a bath since the muslin left a bit of dust residue, but I didn’t spot any breaks or primer rubs. I honestly forgot all the models I brought along, so it was a fun surprise to open each bubble wrap pouch 😂

I unfortunately don’t see myself pasteling/sealing for the next few weeks due to the humid/hot weather, but I might try to get some acrylic base coats down on the light ones.

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 04/08/2023

Next up on the 'finished' list is Darwin! This guy has been a huge pain starting with initial prepping problems (who knew new molds have so many seams??) and eventually morphing into horrible primer issues. After a few months of him sitting I finally relented, stripped him, re-primed, and thankfully he behaved!

His beautiful braid was re-sculpted by Legend's Song Studio. It was super fun to detail, and I enjoyed the challenge. My goal with him was to change up my techniques, such as going for a darker mane/tail, which I've never tried before. I also tried layering more acrylic details to give a subtler finish, and I was quite pleased with the outcome. He was definitely a fun project!

This guy is now sold 😊

**Important Information Below (Including Sales Update)**

I wanted to make a small announcement regarding the likelihood of less activity on my studio page for both Facebook and Instagram. I'm beginning my first semester of college this fall, which means that my time to paint will likely be more limited. I have quite a few models prepped, primed, and ready to work on as I have time, but art will not be my main priority like it has been this past summer. I plan to continue painting when I have time (which may be more frequent than I'm anticipating, it's hard to say for sure), but I'll also be focusing on my studies as a priority. I'll do my best to post updates as I can, so this is just a small note to say that less activity should be expected 🙂

Sales:
Because of everything going on, I will not be able to ship models after I leave. Therefore, all sales will be pulled shortly before I leave and any payment must be made in time for me to ship. I'd love to see my art go to good homes and will be discounting everything I have! I will make specific sales posts in the next few days to highlight what is still available. If there's a model you've been eyeing, now's your last chance to grab it!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! As a side note, I will not be accepting any commissions for the foreseeable future, but I do hope to have a sales piece or two every few months.

Whirlwind, Dark Bay

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 30/07/2023

Decided to spend some time working on this guy today 🙂. I’ve spent about three hours so far, but there’s definitely a lot more work to do. His mane and tail need shading and I’ll need to adjust his black points after I’m able to seal him. The third picture is a fun example of the primer color versus the warmer white acrylics I use to base coat my greys.

Sculpt work by Legend's Song Studio.

Next up on the finished list is the micro Kabachok, sculpted by Oksana Kuks. Or, as I love to endearingly call him, "Chonk" 😂

This guy was my first ever fantasy-themed commission, and I believe my fourth fantasy horse in general (though I do hope to change that number soon!). He has a soft, pastel-pink base coat, a light blue mane, and purple points for additional shading. His base has been painted blue and pink to represent a cotton candy cloud. He sure was a fun, unique one to work on!

And what might this be? 🤔

(Ignore the post-bath water droplets 😅)

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 22/07/2023

I was originally planning on keeping this guy, but I've decided to list him up for sale to help with space on my shelves haha. So, up for sale is the stablemate scale Twist painted by myself, Nadia Paige of Clear Vizion Studio.

Price: $150 OBO (PPD)

MHSP Link: https://modelhorsesalespages.com/view.asp?id=1555464

His pattern was inspired by that of the Arabian stallion Pikhasso++/, a son of Khartoon Khlassic. He has a rich dark bay coat, detailed/glossed eyes and hooves, chestnuts, and subtle dappling. His markings are crisp and I did my best to follow the characteristic sabino pattern while maintaining proper hair growth direction. He has been fully prepped by myself with all seams sanded smooth and any divots/blemishes filled. I will not claim LSQ, but I personally would not hesitate to show him. My work has consistently placed and champed at live shows including NAN qualified shows across the country.

Payment Methods: PayPal, Check, Cash, or MO

Time Pays: Yes! All I ask for is 20% down now and the rest paid off within a week.

If you have any questions or would like more photos, please don't hesitate to PM me!

V***n did well at her first show this weekend (internationally, too)! Thank you to her owner, Maeve, for letting me share the photo 😊

Photos from Clear Vizion Studio, Equine Art by Nadia Paige's post 16/07/2023

One hour. One stablemate. Black, white, and a little bit of blue.

And this… thing… is the result. If you can call it a “thing” LOL. It was still fun though, and really made me appreciate my pastels and acrylics. When I get home I plan on taking a comparison photo- one hour of work with cheap acrylic and a single brush vs. multiple hours of work with higher-quality materials.

(Please excuse the blobs on her, she started as another color that got lumpy before I repainted her).

Videos (show all)

Many project ponies in the works! About 10 that I’m actually working on, but many more are hiding back on the shelf.
