Friends, Arf and Pepper and I need your help. In the Spice Shop mysteries, Arf the Airedale – aka Mr. Ambassador – spends most of his days with Pepper, in the shop, in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. In #7, Between a Wok and a Dead Place, a friend raves about a doggy daycare nearby, and Pepper wonders whether that would be a good idea for Arf on occasion. Now I’m writing the 9th book, and it’s clear, she needs a place for him, for a few hours. But what to call it???

Send me your suggestions for the name of a dog daycare. If I choose the name you suggest, you’ll get a shout-out in the acknowledgments and a signed copy of the book, coming in July 2025.

One caveat: It cannot be the name of a real dog daycare or similar business in the Seattle area. Please submit only one response. Mr. Kitten and I will pick the winner Saturday afternoon, May 25.
