Durham University Business School : News - Durham University The Durham University Business School full-time MBA has been recognised as one of the leading programmes in the UK and Europe, according to the latest annual Global MBA ranking of the world’s leading business schools by the Financial Times.
On 14th or 15th June we are running Mock Assessment Centres with Workmaze. Workmaze have designed an Assessment Centre Workshop and will facilitate two sessions, each lasting one day on EITHER the 14th or 15th June 2011. The workshop will give you an opportunity to enhance your knowledge of Assessment Centres, how to effectively prepare for the selection process and practice a group exercise and presentation.
Leadership Skills Conference - 16th June - Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Management (inc. Negotiation & Assertiveness), Creative Problem Solving and Decision Making - all covered in one day by First Ascent. Refreshments and lunch included ....

• How to market your skills, your MBA and your experiences
• Managing your campaign

On Tuesday, 31st May we have a Work Permit Presentation by Dickinson Dees, 12:00 – 1:30pm in Seminar 8:
There have been a number of changes this year and we have organised another session with Dickinson Dees to update you on these developments and give you information on how to apply for a visa should you choose to do so.

Great 3 days with First Ascent, sorry guys for my total meltdown on the bus fiasco, and thanks to my volunteers who weren't too late going home, and thanks for those on the very full bus! We got home - yay - no more white bread sandwiches!!
Castle Dinner tonight. Then off to the Scottish Borders on Tuesday. Warm clothes required for both venues.
