I can’t believe I have to post this, but apparently, as of June, Meta is taking away the ability to opt out of AI using my art. This is theft, plain and simple. I don’t know where I can show my art for now, but I’ll figure something out. We artists work hard to create what we do, taking away jobs that many people need. For freelancers, like myself, posting our art is how we gain notice and how people can hire us. By taking away the ability to opt out, you are almost forcing us to not share our art in fear that it would get used in an AI piece. For the safety of my work, until I can figure out where I can post my art, I don’t think I can post my art on IG. Stay safe out there, my fellow artists.

Where is Mr. Stupendous going?

It’s been a bit (life), but it’s time to go back to Stupendous things….

I’ve been wanting to build my storyboard portfolio and I was particularly inspired to board an emotional confrontation sequence from .ya.later ‘s Hell’s Belles series on TikTok. I want to have variety and for some reason I feel drawn (no pun intended) to make this sequence into boards. Maybe an animatic down the road. Who knows? All rights for Hell’s Belles goes to Jaysea.

Starting off the new year with some 30sec gestures. DEFINITELY rusty. Observation notes on things to work on: HANDS, perspective, and arms. That’s all I can think of off the top. Let me know what you think needs more work. I want to improve and get back to where I was.

I absolutely LOVE the ring pick out for me. He knows that I love the Little Mermaid and the beach. The stone is one of my favorite colors and it has little shells on it. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him. 💜💜

It’s been a bit since I gave you guys a update. Downside to being an artist with too much in their brain: you forget about projects you’ve started ^^’. I added some clothing and then all I need to do is tighten up things, ink and color. Stay tuned for more projects 😁😁
