My client had a minor collision while playing ice hockey this past week. Her chin hit another players shoulder as they were both going for the puck. She had suffered a major concussion playing field hockey 15 years prior. She had headaches, neck aches and visual problems. She pointed to her left occipital lobe on the back of her head, the center of vision, as a stiff pain point.

The muscles of the eye influence every movement we make. They are connected to the suboccipitals, thus influencing balance and vestibular problems. They can tell us if a concussion is still having an influence on our brains. Many of these issues can be resolved with a little help from the Neurokinetic Therapy Level 3 protocol.

I performed the eye convergence test and her left eye failed to converge, typical of a concussion. The left eye also was shaky in tracking to the right. Her left lateral re**us was overworking and her left medial re**us underworking. I released the left lateral re**us muscle and activated the medial re**us. Her convergence and tracking tests returned to normal and her vision improved.

The eyes are closely related to the limbic system. She experienced slight emotional turmoil and body sensations after getting her eyes worked on which is common. These “minor” limbic releases are AGIFT to the body.

I love when magic happens!
