Troop 31503 finished out its year strong with a bridging ceremony for four girls. Congrats to our new Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts!!

Last weekend Troop 31503 went on their first campout at the base of the Andes Mountains! They planted an avocado tree and hiked a LOT!

Today is World Thinking Day and Troop 31503 celebrated by taking the Tree Promise, advocating for trees and learning about how climate change disproportionately affects women and girls around the world.

Girl Scouts make the Girl Scout sign—raising three fingers of the right hand with the thumb holding down the pinky—when they say the Girl Scout Promise.

"Wait a minute," we hear the eagle-eyed among you say, "This photo shows only two fingers raised..." Good catch! In 1968, the sign switched to three fingers, representing the three parts of the Promise. Say it with us now:
