Oh hey there! I don’t think I’ve properly introduced myself in a while. I’m Shayla Bond, the sole artisan and owner of .studio . Here are some tidbits you may not have asked to know 🙃

I’m 33 years old, hailing originally from the picturesque Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, and I now call Toronto home.

Im a multidisciplinary artist with a BFA in Fashion & Textiles from . believe that art and craft know no boundaries.

In my life, I have two faithful companions, a canine named (Banjo Bond, respectively), and my partner, Conrad.

I oscillate between a love for sophisticated neutrals and a natural inclination toward eclectic colors.

My craftsmen mother fostered creativity from a young age. I painted, knitted, quilted, and woodworked by the time I was 8.

While many label me an extrovert, I’m truly an introvert at heart.

One skill I possess is the uncanny ability to blink precisely when a photo is taken.

My superpower is being an Ibex, surefooted after every stumble or fall.

I grew up in a car crazy family and I still don’t know how to drive stick. My dad has a hot wheels collection tallying over 150,000 cars.

I don’t leave the house between November and March because I don’t do winter sports (or winter in general).

“The Suburbs” by Mr. Little Jeans is my favorite song, and Nu Disco is my favorite genre (DM for playlists).

ESBE (pronounced ES-BEE, reflecting my initials phonetically) was created after a decade long career in the digital space and a yearning for a more tactile connection with my work. Thank you for sticking around thus far, and I hope you’re here for the long run!
