I just got home from a crime prevention operation.
It really takes a community to get things right.
This was done with stakeholders ranging from CPF, members of the community, SAPS, Immigration, EMPD, and Private Security Companies in the area.
Cry my beloved country.
I have reached 400 followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could not have done it without each of you. ππ€π

A lot can be achieved by understanding that Coalitions exist because no party achieved the required 50+1 to Govern outright.
As ActionSA, we continue the good fight of ensuring residents come first.

We were again in court this morning for the appearance of the accused building Hijacker, who also faces illegal immigration and sexual assault charges.
The matter has yet again been postponed, but an interpreter has been found for him, and there won't be excuses for stalling the process.

Attending the SALGA INDABA 2023.
I have to say I'm impressed that the discussion is around the Professionalisation of Local Government.
But with the current approach of politicised recruitment processes (cadre deployment), how do we ensure thorough nonpartisan?
Reality is, Service Delivery relies heavily on the competence of officials through their skills and training.

Today the Caucus was out in Mayfield Daveyton on an overnight visit.
On 08 December 2022, the Caucus visited the site affected by a major sewer spillage that saw residents vacate their homes.
After much intervention by the Caucus and the councillor deployed at the time (Cllr Moropa), the hazardous situation was resolved.
The area is currently dry and some residents have moved back into their homes.
We continue to serve residents, one ward at a time.
(Before and After Pictures Below)
We need change now!!!

Water Update π§ π§ π§
Please Take Note Of The Feedback.
As Posted On The Groups Yesterday. There Has Been Vandalism That Took Place On The Mapleton Line. This In Short Meant That No Water Could Get Pumped To Individual Resevoirs Including Sallies.
Latest Feedback As Recieved This Morning From The Department:
*Morning MMC Randwater is still having a serious challenge and they have not been pumping to our side. They are still experiencing an outage. Sallies Resevoir is almost empty. They have not yet started pumping. We are waiting for restoration of power at Mapleton site of Randwater, Eskom still working on it. It was not restored as Indicated yesterday that it will be fixed *
The Department Is Currently Bening Engaged On Placement Of Water Tankers. It Must Also Be Noted That This Is A Problem Currently Affecting A Lot Of Area's In Ekurhuleni, Such As:
-Brakpan
-Benoni
-Springs
-Dalpalk
-Daveyton
-Tsakane
-Etwatwa
