It's Saint John's wort time of the year ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ
Happy June everyone, go get this magic.
See that dark red stains on my fingers? That's the hypericin in the flower buds, the active ingredient of the hypericum flower, AKA the good stuff that we wanna have.
This is also how you can double check your identification to make sure it's indeed a Saint John's wort.
What do I do with it?
I'd drink it as a herbal infusion and perhaps make an infusion oil for skin and nerves regeneration.
The problem is I never use those oil that I make ๐ซฃ
Thyme, oregano and rosemary gonna join my beautiful grounded sumac to make a homemade zaatar spice mixture. Delicious with everything!

April's workshops in central Portugal ๐ฟ
Noticed this shadow of a dreamcatcher while hanging it by the fire to dry after everything got wet in the market today.
Sometimes their shadows are more beautiful than the dreamcatchers themselves.
My very most beautiful are listed in my shop
wildcraftlife.etsy.com
For more affordable ones, send me a PM.
For example the one in the photo is a part of my clearance sale and is offered for only 25 euro, shipping included.
SOLD this beautiful single feather earring. Call me a bohemian hippie but when I wear a feather earring I also wear only one, in this asymmetric fashion ๐๐๐
If you fancy feather earrings you must check out my shop:

The dreamcatcher is a powerful spiritual tool that protects one from bad dreams and bad spirits.
According to some tribal traditions, it also invites the dreams that one wishes for and helps with their manifestation.
Some people even say that it helped them with a better night sleep and lucid dreams.
As with any item of intention, the object is carrying the vibe of the maker, so please don't get a mass produced dreamcatcher.
Mine are all crafted with love, made from natural foraged materials that were wildcrafted in an ethical and sustainable way.
Join me on a workshop where you will make your own unique natural dreamcatcher, in the coming month in central Portugal, later in pop up locations in Portugal and Europe.

These photos of a dreamcatcher I created at its new home were sent to me yesterday. With this beautiful message:
"Ola, just wanted to say that I love your dreamcatcher I bought at the last Coja market. It's above my bed, and it's very Beautiful. Thank you for your creativity. Love the natural materials and cherry pits as Pearls."
Any season is good for foraging, and we think it's important to learn following the seasons, but my personal favorite is the spring with its edible flowers ๐ป
We just experienced a period of 'false spring' and the wild plants are really exciting!
Gonna start giving foraging workshops again, starting next week near Coja, central Portugal ๐ฟ
More to follow here and in pop up locations.
โ๏ธWood carving in progressโ๏ธ
Yesterday Vi was splitting some logs for firewood, and I noticed this stunning color plum wood, and immediately started another project... This gonna be a cooking spade! Can wait to show you the real colors, it's peach to purple ๐
What a beautiful day we had at the local craft market!
Thanks for all of you who came to say hi, to those who bought feather earrings and dreamcatchers, to new old friends for great conversations ๐
Raffia basket โจ
I made this dreamcatcher for a lovely woman who sent me beautiful feathers following my exchange offer post ๐
Made with feathers from her rooster, willow hoop, cotton thread and glass and wooden beads.
I crafted it with love and I hope she would like it!
I'm still on for exchanges: you send me feathers from your birds, I'll send you a crafted feathery item (dreamcatcher or earrings) in return ๐
SOLD macrame with glass and brass beads earrings โจ
To a lovely returning costumer who is rocking my macrame earrings for the third time!
Large foraging basket, made with willow branches in a random weave style.
