Well done to my Year 6 children receiving their SATs results today and thank you to the parents for letting me know! I am so incredibly proud of every single one of you! Celebrate your success and enjoy your summer, you deserve it!

As many of my existing children have smashed their Year 6 SATS and are ready to begin their high school journies, I have had a number of spaces open up for tutoring.

Many people forget that learning can be lost over summer, so I am offering summer catch up or get ahead sessions. These are great for children about to go into their Year 6 SATs year or transition into Year 7.

If you are interested in your child sitting their 11+ exams and they are currently in Year 4, this summer is the perfect time to start preparing. I can offer these sessions too.

Summer Holiday Sessions

I am offering the following over summer, these will be weekday morning sessions between 9-12 in one hour slots.

Summer Catch Up Sessions
If your child is primary aged and would benefit from some sessions to fill any gaps in their learning before their new school year, I can help with tailored bespoke one to one sessions.

Summer Get Ahead Sessions
If you would like your child to “get ahead” on learning for their new school year and start to look at some of the new curriculum, I can offer these as bespoke sessions. These are great for children who lack confidence, children who are ASD or ADHD who can struggle in the classroom environment.

Good luck to all my KS1 children this week. Hopefully you don’t even know it’s SATs week and you’re just getting on with being awesome in school! But I know you’ll all smash it because you’re all fantastic! Mrs B 😊

Learning should also be fun. This week we made cakes to practice reading and ordering instructions, as well as looking at numbers in the hundreds and fractions. Whilst our cakes cooked, we designed cakes for the King using our fractions knowledge.

I offer one to one sessions in my home just by Myrtle Park. I am a qualified teacher with a clean DBS working locally in a primary school. First sessions are half price. When one of your students tells you they “smashed their SATs mock” and another blew their spring maths assessment out of the water! I am so proud of how hard you are all working! Mrs Black 😊

I currently have regular Saturday morning slots and limited weekday availability for primary age tutoring. First sessions are half price for assessment.

I am also holding SATs booster sessions over Easter and I can offer either one to one or small groups of up to 4 children.
