N95s for Purchase: Through the collaborative efforts of the NHDA officers and the Board of Trustees, we have been able to purchase NIOSH approved Harley L-188 N95s by Honeywell. Each member will be eligible to purchase 2 boxes in the month of October. Starting November 1, all members will be eligible to purchase an additional 2 boxes regardless of previous purchase history. Each box contains 20 respirators and will be sold for $70 per box. Orders can be paid for by credit card or check but check is preferred. To be clear, this does not result in any profit for the Association and solely covers expenses.
Pick up information for N95s: Starting October 19th, you may pick up your purchase from either -
Mark Ryan's office 622 Save Ave West Haven between Tuesday to Thursday 8 am to 6pm, preferably during lunch between 1 to 2pm
Tam Le: Tam has offered to either deliver the N95 or have members pick up their order from his Hamden office (4193 Whitney Ave). To coordinate this, please text Tam at 203.589.4321. Remember to include your name.
We will be making fit tests available November 7th. Please check your email for details.
NHDA is proud to share that our free fit test event was a success! On August 1, twenty three individuals were tested and some individuals brought multiple models of respirators, which we were happy to test. Thank you to our volunteers: Drs. Mark Ryan, Jennifer You, Bruce Y. Cha, and Nicole Brasil Becker

In order to assess the need of this service, please complete the following survey. This is the same survey seen in the newsletter. If you or your partner have already completed it for your office, please do not duplicate your response. The survey takes about 1 minute to complete. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MPVY9PP

Here are some photos from our 121st Annual Banquet zoom meeting from Thursday. Sorry for repeated photos of my head since I took screen shots on my phone 😆.
The NHDA is proud to have celebrated its 121st Annual Banquet! This was our second zoom meeting as an association and we were honored to have Rep. Robin Comey present! We thanked Normita Gomez for the tremendous leadership and guidance that she has provided and the gavel was *virtually* passed to Mark Ryan. Please help us reach dentists who are not currently members of the NHDA. Ask your colleagues if they are members and tell them what you like about NHDA.
Tonight I’m pleased to be virtually attending the Connecticut State Dental Association’s Annual Banquet and learning how they are working with the ReopenCt team to provide care in a safe environments for patients while keeping their dental hygienists protected. I’m feeling hopeful that there will be a mutual agreement very soon. Thank you Dr. Tam Le and Jennifer You for your work on this.
