Morning Ladies and gents, with the new season approaching and the registration day on this Sunday I have had to change the status of the Facebook set up for security and child protection reasons from an open page to a closed group. So as of this Sunday this page will be closed and can everyone start using the newly created closed facebook group please? the new group is Liskeard looe rfc under 16's

The start of the new season is upon us!!!! This Sunday is registration day. 1030am on the main pitch, make sure you register upstairs with Karen (Mr G) before starting training downstairs. This is very important because you need to be registered so that players are covered by the Rugby Football union insurance policy. The fee for the year is £50 this covers all insurance and food following matches.

Sorry busy few days at work. Training tomorrow is on main pitch but I won't get there until 7.30pm, so 7pm start finish when its dark. 8.15/8.30pm. Cian will bring balls over for warm up game of touch.

Training on as normal this Wednesday on the main pitch 1830-2000.

This is the complete fixture list (that I've been given) for the up-coming season. I will look to try and get some other fixtures for the dates that are blank and also the games against Bude, Lankelly / Fowey as they don't have teams in our age groups. until the cup games are drawn I don't know whether we are home or away or who we are against. As soon as I know I will let you guys know.

Training as normal tonight, back on the main pitch 1830-2000 hrs. Well done to all the lads that went down to Truro yesterday for the conditioned games with the Cornwall developing player programme.

I've been to Trevecca today and picked up a black Cornish pirates training top. I think I saw Callum wearing one last night?

A few notes for your diaries:- registration day is 4th September at the club. We have training on 11th September at 1030am. 18th September we have entered a 7's team into the tournament at Saltash (squad of 12). 25th September we are away to Wadebridge (friendly) 2nd October we are home against Perranporth (friendly).

Training this Wednesday is normal time 6.30pm until 8pm. I'm there from the start. We are updating the RFU website and I have been asked for the parent email addresses for Jack Parker, Joe Jackman and Matt James. Training this Wednesday the same as last week. 6.30 pm until 8.15pm. I will get there at 7.20pm ish to take the last hour. Set yourselves up with a game of touch or the kicking game. Team run after that. Need to start seeing close to a full team at training the season is approaching.

sorry for the late notice. I'm working tomorrow until 7pm at Bodmin. I will get back to Liskeard main pitch at 7.30 ish. Cian will take the balls over, can I ask you all to be grown up again and start a game of touch for an hour until I arrive? We will then go straight into a team run until 8.15pm. Please spread the word amongst each other, we need to start preparing for the coming season.

Some good work done tonight at training. Concentration throughout the whole session is something we need to improve on. Don't just go through the motions push yourselves more and more with every training session. A few missing tonight on awards nights or away on holiday. George Rogers, Harry cousins, Charlie Seddon, Ethan Willet, Matt J, Lewis.

Training is back on this Wednesday 6.30pm-8pm on the main pitch. Season is fast approaching. 2 months until 1st game that's not that many training sessions.

Very good training session tonight. Bleep test followed by some touch rugby. We then moved onto match play with lineouts. Some good throwing, lifting and mauling. Backs play very good Harry and Oscar great communication. 10 out of 10 tonight!!!!😊

I've just got back from a coaches meeting, this seasons under 16's have been invited to train with the senior players this Saturday morning at 9.30am until 1030am. This will be a non-contact session so they can take full part in training. The England v Australia rugby test will be on after the game. I won't be there due to work commitments but if a few of you get together I'm sure you will impress the seniors!!!

Training as normal this Wednesday 6.30pm - 8pm on the main pitch. There won't be any training the following Wednesday 22nd June due to mock exams taking place at school. Study and rest is more important than 1 training session.
