It’s been a minute.

Time to get back into the music and get these projects off the ground.

Washington may be closed down, but Arizona, Texas, and any destination wedding or event location, I’m ready to bring the party to your city.

Just warming up the band... Still might be a couple of months out before it’s time to get back on the road, but I’m getting ready now.

It’s been 52 weeks since I last DJ’d a wedding.

One year.

My last event was 40 weekends ago today; my next scheduled event isn’t until April 2021. I really miss mixing music for y’all, so I’ve decided to restart a project.

I went to a lot of concerts in 2019. No one even came close to touching the show that Eric Church put on.

This is my birthday wish:

You go out and support a small business in your area today, tomorrow, this week. Because right now, they need your help more than ever before.

If you have to pay a few bucks more for a product, do it. It’s going to help a member of your community - that big box store chain will survive.

If they provide a service, hire them. They will knock it out of the park for you.

If you choose to dine out, tip well. That waiter or waitress will appreciate it more than you know.

That’s my birthday wish.

Even if you can't support your favorite small businesses with your hard earned dollars, you can still help them out by leaving them positive reviews online.

Apparently, the more positive reviews a place has, the higher they tend to rank in search engine results. Even if that isn't true, they will benefit from social stamps of approval.

So, go out and leave your favorite small businesses and restaurants positive reviews.

Even the little things help as small businesses try to survive during these trying times.

It's been 200 days since I last DJ'd an event.

With the indefinite ban on events in Washington State, that number might double. :(

Just let us work. We can do it safely.

Here's why one should wear a mask: because it allows small businesses to stay open.

That's why I wear one when out in public. Not because I'm mandated to, not because I may not want to, or because I find it silly at times... but because I don't want to see other small business owners be forced to close their doors.

That sucks, ask me how I know.

With the event season cancelled for the start of the summer, I wanted to use a little of my “down time” to complete a few projects. One of them is re-finishing these Adirondack Rocking Chairs I had purchased years ago.

Weathered and worn down from the elements, I love how the espresso brown color gives them new life. Plus, I learned a few new skills in the process from my dad!
