When our partner baker, Cake Elements, planned to surprise us, no one expected potatoes in a rich, moist and deliciously flavourful Christmas cake to be such a pleasant surprise.

When our partner baker, Dotted i Events and Catering, made us sing Kaakyire Kwame Appiah's hit song, "Obi nka sΙ 24th kΙ wo kurom," little did we know she was going to bring us to what a Ghanaian Christmas was to her: coming home.
And brought us home she did! Her delectable reconstructed red velvet cake in her boneshaker model in addition to her own memories of travelling to family homes at Christmas made our hearts and tastebuds smile.
Let's just say if you are yet to taste Dotted i's red velvet, you're missing out. Would you be contacted them this Christmas?

Our partner baker, La Boul' Accra, delighted us with what a Ghanaian Christmas meant to her.
