So recently myself and Josh decided that we would do a cover together since we both love making them as individuals. When I first met Josh, I was in love with this song and it wasn't long before he fell in love with it too. Ever since then we have both had a mutual respect for Maggie Rogers; as a person and a musician.
Last week we filmed this in his recording space and it was all tracked live. In post production we added a string part because who doesn't love a good string section? The audio isn't mixed or mastered to studio perfection and we wanted this because after all, this is a cover that was recorded live and in one take.
We really hope you enjoy our rendition of such an amazing song - and hopefully you enjoy it as much as we loved making it!

Just over a month ago and I embarked on The Coffee House Sessions tour.
It was the first tour either of us had ever done. Full of insane highs and a few lows (mostly when we lost our beds for the night) getting to play music day in day out all over the country was such an overwhelming experience that neither of us will be forgetting anytime soon. Thank you Coffee House for having us!
Lastly, but most importantly, a big thank you to you Jesse. I couldn't of imagined a better friend, musician, listener or human to have shared this experience with. Thanks for putting up with me crying from exhaustion, for being a top postcode reader outer, gear packer downer and car loader, groovy tune chooser, emotional chat giver and being the brilliant musician and friend that you are. I know that I couldn't of done this tour without you - and im so glad I didnt have to. The first of many? Lets just try to make it through our uni assesments in one piece🎉

Damien Rice's 'O' album was the first album that I absolutely fell in love with, that was given to me by my cousin when I was about 10 and I have been wanting to cover one of his songs for the longest time. I spent the majority of The Coffee House Sessions tour raving about how much I loved him, so here is a little cover of one my favourite songs ever. I hope you like it.

Tour Rehearsal

Jesse and I are currently en route to The University of Essex Students' Union - Colchester! We will be playing at the Student Union bar at 1pm.
We'll then be heading to The Royal Holloway, University of London to play a set at Tommy's in the student union at 5pm.
