Five of our amazing colleagues recently volunteered at the Disney Wish, a 'Make-A-Wish UKβ event! This heartwarming events brings joy and magical experiences to children facing critical illnesses. All volunteers engaged with children and families throughout the event to make sure they were looked after and had the most magical time. One of our colleagues spoke about the event saying:
βThe work that goes into this is just phenomenal and the volunteers, Disney, make a wish and hotel staff are amazing- the sets and attention to detail makes such a difference. The whole experience is just incredible and very humbling.β

Meet Cerys, one of our amazing clients from Birmingham! She has a passion for arts and crafts and runs her own business called Cerys' Creative Corner. Cerys was diagnosed with Quadriplegia (dystonic) Cerebral Palsy and Mild Learning Difficulties. Cerys' Newcross care team have been supporting her for the last 3 years to provide the highest level of care, improving her quality of life which enables her to do all the things her peers do and ensures she feels safe and secure.
As Cerys says: "It's great having a team that understands me." π
