Inauguration of New Junior Block & New Library in Pakistan School Salalah!
The H.E Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman Mr. Imran Ali Chaudhary marked a significant visit to Pakistan School Salalah along with the Chairman Board of Directors Mr. Ameer Hamza, Senior Principal Mr. Abdul Rahim and Board Member Mr. Muhammad Irshad. The guests were warmly welcomed by SMC President Mr. Adeel, SMC Member Mr. Khurram Toor, and Principal Pakistan School Salalah Mr. Shahid Iqbal. The Kindergarten toddlers presented bouquets to the dignitaries. During his visit, the H.E inaugurated the New Junior Block and the New School Library. The visit also included a tour of the school, a meeting with the faculty and a session with parents. He addressed various queries from the parents. The President of SMC Pakistan School Salalah gave a presentation on school’s development plans and its commitment to continuous improvement.
During the visit, discussions were held regarding upgradation plans for the upcoming academic years. The key areas for both structural and academic improvements were highlighted, with a particular focus on enhancing students' skills and overall development. The visit reflected hope and dedication towards achieving educational reforms and the betterment of students.

Morning assembly is a daily opportunity to inspire, motivate & set a productive tone for the day, encouraging the learners to make the best of their abilities and give their all. Today’s assembly was especially meaningful, infused with positive energy, uplifting thoughts, and motivating messages. The students came together with enthusiasm, offering prayers, sharing wisdom & celebrating the values that guide us. It carries the spirit of unity, respect and determination that we cultivate each morning. A comprehensive pest control operation was carried out at Pakistan School Muscat Campus on Friday 16th August 2024. The initiative was undertaken to ensure a safe & healthy environment for students and staff as the new academic year begins. The pest control team worked throughout the day, treating classrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces to eliminate any potential health risks. The school campus is now fully sanitized and ready to welcome students back to a clean & safe environment. Regular inspections will continue to maintain these standards.

Orientation Session!

An informative orientation session for the upcoming batches of SI & SII for the IGCSE 2024-25 academic year was conducted successfully at PSM hall on Thursday 15th August 2024. The event took place both in person & online, ensuring wide accessibility. A large number of students and parents participated, demonstrating keen interest and enthusiasm. The session covered essential academic guidelines, expectations & support services, equipping attendees with valuable information to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year. The event was well-received and set a positive tone for the upcoming term.

Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day celebrated in Oman On the occasion of 78th Independence Day of Pakistan, His Excellency, Imran Ali, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman, graced the flag hoisting ceremony held at Pakistan School Muscat.

Independence Day Celebrations!

14th August 1947 marks a great day in the history of the Sub-Continent when Pakistan came into being. On this very day the white and green flag sways in hands and eyes filled with tears of joy represent the happiness and importance of independence.
Pakistan School Muscat celebrated the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan with great zeal and fervour. Students expressed their passion and excitement by wearing various traditional dresses, singing the national songs and presenting tableaues. A large number of students, parents, dignitaries, embassy officials, naval officers and community members attended the flag hoisting ceremony. The Chief Guest H.E the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman Imran Ali Chaudhry hoisted the flag along with the Defence Attache, embassy officials, naval officers, Vice Chairman Board of Directors, Members BoDs, President Pakistan Social Club Interim Committee and other dignitaries, addressed the audience and highlighted the significance of independence day. The Senior Principal Mr. Abdul Rahim presented the welcome note. The volunteers & survivors of the tragic incident in Wadi Kabir were awarded with certificates & shields and appreciated by the H.E for their selfless brave services & sacrifices to rescue the victims. The alumni of Pakistan School Muscat Ms. Qurat-ul-Ain also addressed the audience and shared her insight about the independence day. The guests were presented with souvenirs.
The programme ended with the cake cutting ceremony. Indeed this great day flashbacks the sacrifices of our ancestors who laid down their lives for the establishment of Pakistan.

Pakistan School Muscat Under-16 and Under-19 Cricket trials for Oman Cricket League matches for the session 2024-25 are being conducted at Pakistan School Muscat Cricket ground on 14th August, 2024 Wednesday at 4: 30pm sharp. The selection is also applicable for UAE Cricket Tour 2024.
Players' eligibility criteria
for Under-16: born on or after 1st October, 2008 and born before 1st October, 2012.
For Under-19: born on or after 1st October, 2005 and born before 1st October, 2009.
Interested students should contact school sports office; Mr. Abdul Qayyum DPE (93351170) and should come in proper hard ball Sports Kit on the selection day.
Late candidates will not be entertained.

A staff meeting with the faculty of Senior Block was held on Thursday 08 August, 2024 by the Principal Mr. Gul Rahim & the Coordinator Federal Stream Mr. Tariq Abbas to discuss various relevant educational matters such as students' attendance, monthly tests and action plan for further improvement in results for the session 2024-25. The interactive meeting was productive focusing on future improvements.

Staff Meeting!
After the summer vacation, Senior Principal Mr. Abdul Rahim & Principal Pakistan School Muscat Mr. Gul Rahim held a staff meeting to welcome the staff and to discuss the action plan for the upcoming 2024-25 session. The meeting took place at PSM Hall on Monday, August 5, 2024 and covered topics including students' attendance, copy checking, fee recovery, class observation and book selling. They emphasized the importance of professional development & dedication to the tasks assigned for the new session. They also highlighted the need to nurture students' personalities towards educational excellence. The meeting was productive, focusing on interactive skills and future improvements.

We extend heartiest congratulations to our position holders in Humanities Group in FBISE SSC-II exam results 2024. Maleeka has achieved first position by securing 869 marks, Saira Imran has achieved second position by securing 860 marks & Balqees has achieved third position by securing 848 marks.

Pakistan School Muscat has achieved another hallmark by producing outstanding results in the FBISE SSC-I & II annual examination 2024.
Ayesh Ajmal from Pakistan School Muscat Branch has achieved overall first position by securing 1039 marks, Hiba Ahmed from Pakistan School Muscat Branch has secured overall second position with 1033 marks and Adeen Kashif from Pakistan School Muscat Branch has secured overall third position with 1026 marks in the FBISE SSC-II annual examination 2024. Congrats!

A significant meeting took place between Mr. Ameer Hamza, Chairman Board of Directors of Pakistan Schools Oman, and Mr. David, Country Head of Beacon House School System Oman, along with Principal Pakistan School Muscat Mr. Gul Rahim, Coordinator BODS and (HR officer Ayesha Fazal). Interactive Session!
A useful Interactive session with the faculty & staff of Pakistan School Muscat was held at PSM Library by the Chairman Board of Directors Mr. Ameer Hamza on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 comprising various academic aspects under discussion, teaching methodologies, teachers' training, improvement in educational environment, evaluation of teachers' performance, targets & proposals for the new academic session and new school projects. All the faculty members and staff attended the session and took part in the discussion. The session ended with a question and answer segment.
