Overview of Weekly Camp Sessions:
2019 GAME TIME BASKETBALL CAMP
• Welcome to our 7th annual summer basketball camps at Palm Beach Atlantic University! The name of our camp has changed slightly, but our location, values and commitment to teaching young people skills and sportsmanship in a safe and fun environment remains the same.
• Camps are under the direction of Dave Balza, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University. In keeping with the mission of PBA, basketball is taught from a Christ-centered, nurturing approach.
• Game Time Basketball Academy’s camps are held in the Rubin Arena and Mahoney Gym. Both are located in the air-conditioned Greene Complex on the PBA campus in West Palm Beach.
• Sessions 1 thru 3 are Skills Camps for Boys & Girls entering Grades 3 thru 10 in Fall of 2019.
• Participants are grouped by age and skill level for drills, games and competitions.
• Sessions 1 & 2 are Commuter only ($295) camps. Drop off is from 8:30 to 9:00 am and pick-up is at 4:00 pm.
• Session 3 has both Commuter ($295) and Overnight ($445) options. Overnight available for boys only entering Grades 6 and up.
• Check-in for all camps is Monday 8:00 am and ends in an awards ceremony Thursday 3:30 pm.
• Meals are served in the on-campus dining hall and are all-you-can-eat. Lunch is included for commuters. Overnight campers receive all meals.
• Overnight campers stay in supervised air-conditioned campus housing at PBA.
• Early Bird & After Care is available for Commuters for a fee from 7:45 am – 5:15 pm.
• Camper receives a jersey and basketball.
