Smokin’ Jakes is an award winning competition BBQ team from Olathe, KS. We are John Myers, Jason Stenberg, and Jon Johnson. That’s a Jake!

We, as a team, enter as many competition events per year as time allows. We do, however; have jobs and families to support, but our sense of community and giving is genuine! We are fulltime Firefighters with the City of Olathe and when were not fighting fires and eating smoke on the job, we’re lightn’ our smokers and cooking some of the tastiest Kansas City style BBQ around.
