I am a strong man but however sometimes i need a hug! Ohh! Yess i do! Just tell me sweet words, care for me, call me today, even take me out, 😁😁 cos its hurts atimes to be me😥

Family has shattered me, society has battered me, friends has humiliated me, the church sold me out, the entertainment industry feels am too Godly for their use while others its a twist! many sit behind to observe and mouth dice me with what they feel is going on even when they are wrong, love wasn't an exception at teaching me lessons in pain, kaaaii! Death keep subtracting the ones i finally found hope and need of, all clouding the Beauty of God's and trying to rise above the knowledge of God in my life! 😆😆😆 all of that isn't the highlight, But you know what's?

i remained UNBROKEN! Abused but still very useful, Cos i found God earlier.

Wait! What if God wasn't sitted in my life as an arm i could fall back to always? Heeeeyyy i for don shatter! Like a ceramics hurled in the air and left to shatter on the rock!
But No i choose a part!
THE REBELLIOUS HOPE, i choose to be the prey that won't accept to die at the captive's claws! I choose an undieing hope and a constant and renew hope and spirit, knowing that one day my dreams will come alive and i will meet my destiny helper.

20 years gone already. Just seems like yesterday.😳

I vividly remember watching Miss World 2001 Live on NTA on a Friday evening, 16th November 2001 around 8.30pm Nigerian time (shortly before 9pm network news) when (from Rivers State), an 18 year old, dark skin, Computer Science and Mathematics undergraduate of University of Port Harcourt was crowned Miss World (Most Prestigious Beauty Pageant in the World) at Sun City, South Africa.

That night of some of the most beautiful women in the World was hosted by famous and spectacular American TV host and presenter

In her acceptance speech, Miss Darego paid tribute to her late mum who passed away few months ago.

Her win broke records in Nigeria , africa and the world at large, and made her the first and till date the only Black African to win the coveted crown.

Her win was highly celebrated and received in her home Nation and gave Nigeria the rights to host Miss World 2002 in Abuja but was unfortunately was moved to London just 2 weeks to grand finale due fatal Sharia protests that sparked in the Northern part of the Country Nigeria.

Miss Darego (MBGN 2001) previously represented Nigeria at Miss Universe 2001 (May/June) finishing 7th (Nigeria's best outing ever).

By virtue of winning Miss World 2001, Miss Darego resided in London (official home of Miss World winners) for the next 12 months while relinquishing her office as MBGN 2001 to 1st Runner-up, ANN SUINNER to carry on MBGN official duties.

Miss Darego's evening gown that night was designed by Nigerian designer

Chief OLUSEGUN OBASANJO was the then President of Nigeria.

Lastly, Miss Darego was part of the panel of judges at Miss World 2003. We will not forget this feeling in a hurry🙏. I love you and thank you for paving ways for so many other young girls and making them believe in tgeir
