As the Geminids "King" meteors circle the Earth, we bring you our last release of the year, a first time collaboration with the singer Yannis Fyssas, where he takes us into the heart of Greece and the Balkans. 🇬🇷 Big additional thank you to Ivan Vladiković for additional vocals, Johannes Kroller for beautifully featuring the Balkan tamburitza (tamburica) for the very first time, and thank you to Dino DiNicolo on bass and Michael Fraser on the violin. 🎶

Tambura Rasa always seeks to find true essence in all things. With a melting pot of instruments, genres and talent, we send this one out to you all in the name of bringing cultures together, in the name of unity and of course, as the song sings, in the name of love. ❤️

This is our last posting from the “Tambura Rasa Expression” concert last October. We had a full house and a wonderful show, with the dream team of artists always willing to take on new ventures. We look forward to being back and seeing you all again in the spring! 🙂

For folks in or around Vancouver, we would like to invite you to a very unique, “one-of-its-kind” live concert production that we are organizing on October 14th at St. James Hall, called the “Tambura Rasa Experience”. We will be exploring the widest spectrum of world styles and musical dynamics to date. It will be a fusion of flamenco and electric guitars, eclectic vocals and harmonies, Balkan tamburitza, bohemian violins, Cuban trumpet, beat-box, bass and dance. We will add spices of Italian tarantellas, Greek and Roma classics, Japanese artistry and will even take you up Tibetan plains. To say the least it will be an “experience”. 🎶

Hello everyone!

I am officially announcing and would like to invite you to our next big Tambura Rasa production, which will take place at St. James hall in Vancouver on Saturday, October 14th. We would like to take you on a sonic journey with this one and make it a whole new creative experience.

We will have a variety of musicians and guests, including dance. Each ticket will include a fresh slice of finest Italian focaccia, with a bar and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the two-set performance.

I also recently finished producing a new single called Eupoliteia and am happy to announce its release as well.

Hello friends and beyond,

I would like to invite you to a literary event I am organizing this coming Friday evening, May 5th. I will be presenting ideas from a book that I recently finished on the evolution of cultural systems called “Forces of Society”. This is going to be my last event production until the fall so I hope you can join us!

If you enjoy complex and intellectually stimulating topics and if you are seeking for ways to understand how the world around us functions, especially the societal one, this event is for you. I have been absorbed in these topics for over a decade now and have explored them in great depth and detail using very thorough and methodical approaches.

If it helps to know, as I’ve noted in the event description, many of the subject matters I will be presenting on Friday have been written about by authors and researchers such as R. Sapolsky, G. Lakoff, A.S. Neil, R.A. Wilson, D. Kahneman, M. Rosenberg, A. S. Neil, R. Dawkins and D. Dennett.

I’ve made the entry price modest mainly to cover our rental of the beautiful B&E space. Otherwise, I am organizing this event to offer my ideas freely and generously. :) I will do a presentation for about an hour starting at 8pm, then we can do some Q&A and even open up for mutual dialogue, with a mingle after! Should be a fun one!

We are officially sold out for our event tomorrow evening!! yay! 💥

If there are any cancellations, we should be able to allow a few entrances at the door, of course only after we’ve accepted guests with tickets. Also, make sure to review the event information and guidelines and let your guests know about them too!

Hello beautiful people!

Hope the new year is finding you well and rested for our next spin around the sun! :)

We seem to have built quite a momentum with our previous events, receiving great feedback and requests to bring it back, so thank you! As such, I am happy to announce our next Tambura Rasa musical venture on Saturday March 25th, 7pm-midnight.

Bridge & Enrich are graciously opening their doors again for us to come together and collectively create magic. We will focus on having more dance and mingle space with less chairs this time, you are welcome to bring a cushion to relax as if it is your own living room. :)

We have also included multiple tiers of the early bird ticket deal and are still committed to building our own community of diverse people and cultures, all brought together through music, fine spirits, eastern teas and finest freshly baked Italian focaccias throughout the evening! The event guidelines have all the details you need to know. :)

Thank you again for being continuing contributors to the real-world, cultural diversity and live artistic expression in Vancouver! Let these gatherings be one of the many shining lights in this city where we can focus our energy on celebrating together our diverse world.
