Camping for the weekend and didn’t even get a chance to wet a line so…. Hit the pond out back when I got home. Glad I did!
I’m a size 14!

I think it’s fair to say they’re likely the all organic pit…finally got in there the last couple of days and cleaned up the lowers and stretched them out again.
More to come once I clean up the tops a bit.

The pond is a beautiful blue/green in this perfect weather! Pics don’t do it justice.

The rains earlier last week put my concrete guy behind so… while I’ve got equipment, Project private beach.
I was finally able to clear the cover crop plantings and get some netting up. A few took a beating in the latest storms but will power through.
Always something going on around here.

Cat or kitten anyone? Trapped these two today, they’ve been hanging out in my garage . I’m thinking it’s a very young mother and a single kitten. Seem pretty feral but should be young enough 🤷‍♂️ GR/Kzoo MI area.

PSA-keep an eye out for these guys in your IPM routine! You probably want these baby praying mantis around. Had a giant one in the greenhouse last year and she apparently left her offspring. Good to have in the greenhouse?

There we go! We always get a few in the edge of the yard. I’ve seen others finding plenty already but these are the first here. Living the greenhouse life seems to be working pretty nice too! 💪💪 that soil is treating them right!

For those that like to have drains holes in their cups, here’s my tip for today….

So…after reopening the garden last year after nearly two decades and none of the old stash wanted to pop, I went genetics collecting.
