Our Story
Way back when my father-in-law was a little boy living in Corona with his family, his father decided that Corona had gotten too crowded and busy. So he bought property in Bautista Canyon in East Hemet to plant citrus and start a new venture. Since the land parcel had no well, he set about digging one...by hand! He then planted white grapefruit trees and made a good living selling the fruit.
Many years later we still have some of these original trees on the ranch, but as the fruit is no longer commercially viable we have switched to red grapefruit and navel oranges as our main crops. We also have several acres of stone fruit and row crops.
Our daughter Emily works with us in our business, making her the fourth generation Kelley to farm in Bautista Canyon.
