Rock Brew
Rock Brew is one of the first craft breweries in Laos. Each of our batches is hand-crafted using the
Fan of fruit beers? We've got you covered. 'Purple Haze' our special mulberry wheat beer is now available on tap at O'Grady's Irish Pub and Restaurant. Made with real organic Lao mulberries this is a great one to ease you into the summer heat. When it's gone it's gone!
Extreme - Hole Hearted
Have you sampled Hole Hearted, our new American Pale Ale? Let us know what you think! There's a reason we're putting this one in our core range. Bold American hop flavour with a rich malty base. We've kept the bitterness mellow on this one so don't be afraid to give it a go even if you don't like IPA's.

Meet the new Rock Brew lineup! We've been running through a lot of different recipes (some more successful than others) over the last five months or so but we've finally settled on our core range:
Free Fallin' - Summer Ale
Hole Hearted - American IPA
Free Bird - Rye Pale Ale
These will be put into regular circulation over the coming months. We will also be adding a porter or stout to this range which will be served periodically.
Looking forward to seeing you all for a great night of live music at O'Grady's Irish Pub and Restaurant this evening courtesy of Ultra Sonic Bazaar and The Frogs.
It’s also going to be a great weekend for craft beer with three Rock Brew beers on tap inside throughout the night. Free Fallin’ Summer Ale continues its run while Sunday Girl, our Blonde Ale makes a comeback. We will also be debuting Purple Haze, a fruit wheat made with organic Lao mulberries (one for the fruit beer fans). This one's a special so when it's gone it's gone!
As soon as the summer ale kicks we will be serving ‘Hole Hearted’ our new American IPA, bursting with East Coats hop flavour (name that band :)).
A big shout out to everyone who attended our beer launch evening at O'Grady's Irish Pub and Restaurant on Friday night. Combined with several events in the beer garden the turnout was phenomenal and we went through two full kegs! Both 'Free Bird' rye pale ale and 'Free Fallin' are now back on tap so if you missed them over the weekend there's another excuse to get down to O'Grady's (as if you ever needed one!).
We're also proud to announce that our new pet rock mascot has now been christened 'Roxanne'. James Patterson takes home a custom Rock Brew pint glass for the great suggestion in our naming competition.
As previously mentioned, we will be aiming to keep two beers on rotation at O'Grady's from this point on. Stay posted for updates on our upcoming releases which include a couple of new brews: a fruity, mulberry wheat beer (made with organic Lao mulberries) and a new IPA with bold American hop flavours. Coming soon!

Rock Brew starts off 2017 with a bang. After a month long hiatus over the festive season (along with a slew of brewery upgrades) our next three beers are in the fermenters.
'Sunday Girl' (blonde ale) will be making a return along with our signature rye pale ale, 'Free Bird'. We will also be debuting our new Summer Ale, an easy drinking sunny beer with a tropical/citrus punch courtesy of Australian 'Galaxy' hops.
Two of our new beers will be making the transition from our keg fridges to the bar at O'Grady's through our brand new taps. We will also be aiming to serve in a couple more locations in town. Stay posted as we will be throwing a launch night before the end of the month to celebrate the release of our new brews!
Rock Brew gears up for the new year. 2017 is going to be a great year for craft beer in Laos!

The wait is almost over, our next three beers will soon be on tap at O'Grady's Irish Pub and Restaurant! Sunday Girl (blonde ale), Whiter Shade Of Pale (IPA) and White Wedding (American wheat) will be available within the next couple of weeks.
We would also like to announce that we will be increasing production slightly over the next couple of months. There may be some lag time during this period but our new cellaring procedures and increased number of kegs should lead to better beer being available regularly. Cheers!
We're down to our last keg of Back In Black and it's going fast! If you haven't had a chance to try our signature oat stout then get down to O'Grady's Irish Pub and Restaurant for their first birthday/official opening celebrations on Saturday. When it's gone it's gone!
