Do you have a favourite???

This pair is just stunning. Loving the black, together with the Haematite and the warm coloured peach glass bead.

Welcome to The Spangled Bobbin ❤️.
My journey into lace making began last year. My Mum was reminiscing about my Grandma (whom I never met) and the beautiful lace she made. Unfortunately my mum did not inherit any of her lace so I never got to see it.
But that got the old brain cells working. I was fast approaching my 50th and wanted to connect with my past and so I contacted my local group and loaned me my first pillow, threads, bobbins and book.
I tried and I tried and tried again, but no matter what I did, I could not figure out those pesky edges. Just when I got to the stage where I was going to thrown in the towel, I finally met my wonderful tutor, who is now putting on the right track.
So whilst I am very much a learner in the art of lace, I am a keen crafter and lover of the colour pink. So, I thought having inherited lots of bobbins, I decided to start using up my vast collection of beads and make my own spangles.
Well that opened up a tub full of crafty goodness and I thought yes, I love making these and so here I am, creating lace and beautiful spangles using the most unusual, exquisite glass and gorgeous gemstones.
I hope you like my creations too. Check out my album of what's available. P&P starts from £1.30 for up to pairs of spangles.
