Barbara Stacer for Pompey Town Board
Hello! My name is Barbara Stacer and I am running for a Councilor position on the Pompey Town Board.
Where do I begin? It has taken me 2 days to put my thoughts together. I wanted to make sure I could encompass everything into my message to you all.
First and foremost, THANK YOU to everyone that supported myself and my teammates throughout the Primary and General Elections. The support was overwhelming and I am beyond humbled and appreciative for it. This has been the experience of a lifetime. Not only the possibility of becoming an elected representative of this amazing Town we call home, but also the countless conversations and friendships I’ve made with so many people throughout our community.
Thank you to my friends and family for jumping right in to help and support me throughout the entire journey. I have an amazing support system that helped push me to the end!
Secondly, CONGRATULATIONS to Mark Nardella for Pompey, Dave Angello and Diana Carpenter for their wins! Our town is in good hands with the team we have (including of course Councilors Lipe & Loomis). Pompey’s future is bright and we should all be excited about that.
I’m proud of my team for the campaign we put out there. We never strayed from understanding the importance of doing what’s best for the people in our community. The support we had from the active members of the Official Republican Candidates for Town of Pompey committee supported and enforced the principles that Mark, Dave and I wanted to run with and I’m happy and proud that Mark and Dave will get the opportunity to fulfill them for the betterment of our community.
My commitment to the people of our Town goes far beyond having a seat on the Town Board. I will remain an active member of this community and look forward to future opportunities to do so.
Thank you all so very much.
With much gratitude,
Barbara Stacer

Tonight’s agenda for the Town Board is packed full with lots of the topics and issues we have all been working so hard to get answers on.
Seaboard Solar will be in attendance to discuss a revised plan they would like to propose.
There is also a public hearing on placing a moratorium on application for Home Occupations. I again ask, what has constituted an “influx” of applications for home occupations that warrants a moratorium for this topic and not industrial solar?
There’s power in numbers. I hope as many people as possible are able to make the meeting!
Todays the day! Get out there and vote!
Mark Nardella for Pompey for Town Supervisor
David Angello for Town Councilor
Barbara Stacer for Pompey Town Board for Town Councilor

Thank you to all those that attended the Official Republican Candidates for Town of Pompey's BBQ yesterday at Heritage Hill! Nearly 150 people showed up to meet the candidates, Mark Nardella for Pompey, Dave Angello and myself, Barbara Stacer!
Special thanks to David Knapp, our County Legislator, and Dan Palladino, owner of Heritage Hill for hosting us!
This was not only a great opportunity to meet the candidates, but also an opportunity for us to hear about all the issues and topics that are on your minds and to ask us questions about what our views are. It was truly a pleasure to get to spend the afternoon with our community and hear the voices that truly matter.
We need to continue to hear your voices tomorrow, 6/27, for the Primary Election! Get out there and vote for Mark, Dave and I so we can continue to work together for the betterment of our community!
Last but certainly not least, a huge Thank You! to Alma Hartnett for her tireless efforts and support during this Primary Election.
The Primary Election is just 11 days away!
Primary elections are crucial! They determine the candidates who will represent their parties in the general election. By voting in a primary election, voters have a say in choosing who will run for office and ultimately have a chance to influence the direction of their town.
Additionally, primary elections are essential in promoting democracy by giving citizens the power to express their opinion and participate in the political process. Don’t pass up on your opportunity to vote for who you think has your best interests at heart as a citizen in the Town of Pompey!
On June 27th, vote for:
Mark Nardella for Pompey for Supervisor
Dave Angello for Councilor
Barbara Stacer for Pompey Town Board for Councilor
Early voting starts tomorrow, June 17th and runs through June 25th.
You can vote at the following places for the Primary Election:
Pompey Hill Fire Department located at 7407 Academy Street
