Guidelines for Granting Resident Scholarships
1. The ICTO will generate PL-DL lists one month after the final encoding of grades upon the request of OSFA.
2. The Resident Scholarship Guidelines apply to all PUP undergraduate students with Regular Status from any year level who meet the academic requirements for a resident scholarship.
A REGULAR STUDENT is registered for formal academic credits and carries the full load required by his or her curriculum in a given semester (reference: PUP Student Handbook). A student who carried the full load required in a given semester by his/her curriculum and was approved for overload is disqualified.
3. To qualify as a Presidentโs Lister/University Scholar, a student should have
3.1 a general weighted average of at least 1.50
3.2 no grade lower than 2.50 in any course
3.3 no failed (F), dropped (D), incomplete (INC), withdrawn (W), not set (not S), passed (P), or blank mark one month after the last day of encoding of grades for each semester.
4. To qualify as a Deanโs Lister/College Scholar, a student should have
4.1 a general weighted average of at least 1.75
4.2 no grade lower than 2.50 in any course
4.3 no failed (F), dropped (D), incomplete (INC), withdrawn (W), not set (not S), passed (P), or blank mark one month after the last day of encoding of grades for each semester.
5. The Presidentโs Lister or Deanโs Lister shall receive Certification duly signed by the University President (soon to follow).
