we are a 4 piece hardcore/metalcore band from the barossa valley and we are aiming to hit the adelaide scene hard in 2011! we are not yet sure what sound we want to aim for, all we know is we want to do something differant, something that will make people go wow. in the coming months we will be adding promo shots, recording our demo in late february and have our debut show in early may.

All things good take time and Hope Within Tragedy is no exception, but there comes a time when preparation must turn into action
Spending the first year as a band letting things fall into place naturally has given the guys of Hope Within Tragedy time to work out a direction, sound even the lineup that will plunge them right in the middle of the Adelaide metal scene.
Teaming up with the young talent of Hugh Atkinson of Preflex Studio as the producer Hope Within Tragedy set about reaching their own high expectations, but the results not only surprised friends, family and newly found fans they also found them selves surprised and excited at the results.
Hope Within Tragedy have supported bands such as We Are The Emergency, For All Eternity, Seconds Before Sunrise, and Archers.

as we search for a new drummer & second guitarist, we have decided to change tartarus a bit. we are going to try and be a bit more metalcore and possibly add synth down the track. thoughts?
