We still have three really cute babies that are available at convention. Take a look at WE.B.C.N.SPOTS Rabbitry for videos!
Head over to our group WE.B.C.N.SPOTS Rabbitry for our convention sales! We won’t be sad if we end up bringing any of these babies back home. Blacks and grays available, including a black doe out of GC HMDs Beep, who won BIS at the 2022 National All English!
I’d like to introduce myself to everyone as candidate for the office of President of the AESRC. My name is Heather Dunaway and I’ve been raising English Spots since August of 2002. I first fell in love with the breed at the 2001 Indiana State Fair while watching Tim Branham’s amazing entry at that show. I did research and came back the next year to get my first pair from him. At one time or another I have raised all seven varieties. I proudly served as a director for many years and currently I’m Vice President. I’ve also been in charge of the website since 2010. I feel as if I’ve grown a lot as a person and a rabbit raiser over the last couple of years and figured it was time to take the plunge and run for President. I’ve had English Spots at every convention since 2005, attending all but four of those myself. I’ve been to every National All English show since 2005 except for two. I’ve attended and participated in all of the meetings at the National shows and conventions I’ve been to. I’ve been dedicated to this club from day one and it will be an honor to help support it in new ways.

In honor of the Queen’s passing I thought I’d share this amazing piece of English Spot history.
Kingston Ideal II
WINNER OF 11 firsts. 8 specials & 1 cup. Including 1st & Special Royal Cardiff, being handled by HRH the Price of Wales, on June 26, 1919. If my research is correct, and please correct me if I’m wrong, the Prince of Wales in 1919 was the future King Edward VIII.
I came across this amazing piece on eBay several years ago and had to add it to my collection.
Had a great weekend in Canton at the National All English!
Had a few good placings:
2nd of 21 black sr bucks with HMDs Whiplash
3rd of 17 gray sr does with HMDs Alibhai
Best Fur with HMDs Alibhai
1st of 27 black sr does, BOV Black, and Best of Breed/Best in Show with GC HMDs Beep!
Beep also received the second highest points total in the Best of the Best judging (all BOBs from all of the specialty shows and National shows held that day competed against each other for a special overall award).
Beautiful litter born this morning! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
HMDs Whiplash was Best in Show A today at Lebanon Indiana!
Convention placings were ok, but not great. Enough to push me to breed hard for nationals in April. Hopefully within the week I’ll get some rabbits bred.
I’ll be trying for black, blue, and gray.

Our best placing at nationals this year was with GC HMD's Suddenbreakingnews. Bea placed 2nd of 28 black senior does. She was BOSV Black at convention.
I came home and bred all of the does in the barn that weren't already bred or on a litter. Coming back better than ever for convention!
WE.B.C.N.SPOTS is happy to announce that we will be sponsoring a new award at the 2019 National All English show. We are donating a Youth Sportsmanship award at the banquet. It will be given to the youth breeder who shows the best sportsmanship during the show. We, along with a trusted group of individuals will determine which youth exhibitor is most deserving.
Sportsmanship: fair and generous behavior or treatment of others, especially in competition.

At Convention I was given the honor of being selected as a member of the AESRC Hall of Fame. I'm so thankful to whoever nominated me. I've been working with English Spots for 15 years now (has it really been that long? How time flies!). Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. This means the world to me!

Rabbits will be cooped at convention on Saturday. As soon as all of my rabbits are copped, sales will be made available. I will be spending a bit of time at the AESRC booth, setting up the silent auction. So if I'm not near the coops, that's probably where I am. There is a possibility that I'll have a couple more for sale that are not entered. I live close enough that I can deliver those any day during convention.
