Today I spoke at Bill and Melinda Gates’ Goalkeepers Conference, about what it’s like for 190 million of us who suffer with . It’s been my life’s mission to advocate, educate and encourage research on this important cause- that is not only a women’s health issue but a family issue around the globe. When a woman is down with chronic pain, her whole family suffers. For many of us, the disease is not only physically painful and debilitating, it’s emotionally isolating and demoralizing. It holds us back from reaching our full potential. I’m so thankful to be invited to address this incredible gathering, in hopes of not only finding a cure, but making women feel a little less alone.
