The main material is polyester webbing which is really durable, soft and PATTERNED😍😍 on both sides. I don’t know about you guys but I really missed the cheerful patterns from my collections. I’ve just returned back to life from the holiday break which was insanely good. I’m here fresh and new and already started to prep your orders that came during the holidays. ⠀
To start the year I was thinking to introduce and reintroduce myself to the new and old followers.❤️ ⠀
My name is Dóri, the human behind the brand. My passion towards animals is undeniable. I always was a girl to be out at the barn with the horses and grabbed every chance to spend time with them. I always wanted a dog and I got Björn 3 years ago. He pretty much changed my life and I couldn’t be happier about it. 🥰 ⠀
Officially, I’m a Molecular Bionical Engineer. Although, I loved the university, I felt in my heart that my destiny is in a different direction. When I was half through to get my degree I realized that I have to be a vet someday. It was so clear! I properly finished the school and now, I’m still preparing to get into the Veterinary University.⠀
You know, when they say - ‘the goal is not at the end of the road but the road itself’ - sounds so cliché. But I’m just living it and I realized this quote couldn’t be more true. Yes, my big dream is to be a vet one day. My business was started to be a tool to reach my dream, to make myself financially capable of living the university life again. However, it turns out, Bubark is the ‘road’, therefore Bubark is my goal too. So damn true. I’m reaching little goals everyday and it gives me the power to continue the long journey aheading me. I’d like to take a short moment here to celebrate Bubark’s first anniversary and appreciate all the good (and bad) and the lessons I’ve learnt by following the path once I had only been dreaming of. ⠀
I don’t really promote my vet story because it is not a happy end yet. However, I feel that my followers and customers should know that they’re supporting a good cause, a dream come true. ⠀
What is your big dream? I’d love to read stories that may be similar to mine, that maybe someone has changed direction too. I’d love to hear the happy ends, and the not-so-happy ends.⠀

Today I’m travelling to my hometown to spend the long weekend there. My first thing will be to go for a big walk alongside the river Tisza with Björn. He just loves the freedom I can give him there, running hundreds of meters forward and then back to me. He loves to play in the water, barking on ducks that are floating too far away from him. Pure happiness.💕⠀

Although, I felt a bit guilty not working today, yesterday’s post of helped me to let this feeling go. It’s a wonderful thing to build your own brand because every minute you work is for you and for your future. And of course, all mistakes you make will have the impact on your life and there’s no one else to blame. Recently, I ‘work’ until really late, 10pm or midnight. After I made and sent out your orders during the day, I can start thinking and planning new collections, get new ideas, search for materials, editing photos and creating content. Every single minute worths that I spend with my business and I can’t thank YOU enough making all this possible. Without you I’ll be nowhere. Thank you!❤️⠀

This one was custom made for a tiny little doggo. 🥰 I was a bit scared when the owner asked me to hide the ends of the rope under the paracord. Usually, I use end caps to cover the cut ends of the rope but it is totally understandable that those are too much for a little dog. In the end, I am more than happy with this collar and I’m thankful for the owner for challenging me to create something new. I always listen to the owners and their wishes because they know what is best for their dogs. I try my best to fulfill the demands and I’ve never had a customer before who was not happy with the finished product. 😊 ⠀

I’d like to start a new topic, let’s say a little blog about why I chose the materials I’m currently using and what are those magical Bubark features that I implemented to my workflow to create a special brand for you that is functional and stylish in the same time.⠀

Firstly, let’s talk about BioThane®! ⠀
⠀
I know everything is about BioThane® here and you may think you already know it’s best features. But why did I choose it to work with?⠀
⠀
I wanted to buy for my dog a collar that is durable enough to wear it in his whole life. A collar that can survive bad weather, water and mud. It’s insane but back in that time (like 1,5-2 years ago?) there was NONE collar on the Hungarian market that would have met my needs. I don’t even remember how but I finally found this awesome material, called BioThane® that exactly was what I wanted. After that, the whole business idea came but it is totally a different story.⠀

Why BioThane® and not other, financially more favorable waterproof webbings? Because I found BioThane® more of my taste. It’s softer and looks nicer than its competitors. All waterproof webbings are durable, can bear any dirt and easily washable BUT BioThane® feels more like leather, softer for the dog’s fur and skin and its pattern looks more natural. I find a little bit harder to work with it but it’s not that bad and totally worths some plus effort. BioThane® comes in amazing colors. ⠀
It is a registered trademark in the US which, in a way, assures me that I always buy the same quality product therefore I can guarantee the best quality for my customers too.⠀
