Hey ya'll! My name is Alee Troyanek! I am a full-time mother, pre-school teacher, and Roller Derby player. This is my journey to a fit life! Right? Like, really?
I got started with beachbody in 2013 by using P90x. In just 3 months, I had lost 45 lbs and was feeling amazing! My mistake I made then was stop working out. I had completed the program and lost the weight, so I was done! I kept eating right, but slowly that started changing. I found myself failing to plan, and therefore, planning to fail. I didn't have my meals prepared and started eating at fas
t foods. I kept telling myself I was going to start a program, so I could eat that cake, or I could eat 3 helpings of that delicious pasta. Fast forward to the spring of 2015 I had gained the 45 lbs back, plus some. In the summer, I wore dresses and clothes I could work out in, not anything that I would really need to "fit into." Well, come fall and the turn of weather and I didn't fit into ANY of my pants. I had gotten rid of the pants I wore before, because I vowed to never fall back into them. Well, in order to do that, you need to work at it. Being fit is not easy, but neither is being unhealthy. The turning point for me was when I couldn't even fit into overalls I had...overalls. When it comes to roller derby, I have always preferred to be a blocker. I can jam and I am good at it, but I need to get lead jammer so I can call it off right after I get my points or force the other person to call it off. I become too tired when I keep going. This season, we are down 3 jammers and I will likely need to not only step-up, but SHOW up! I purchased the 21 Day Fix Extreme and lost 11 lbs in two weeks, but didn't finish the program, because I made excuses. Well, I am now completing Hammer & Chisel along with my best friend and my own coach motivating me daily to keep on going! The help my own coach has given me has inspired me to help others. This page will be where you can follow my journey to getting fit, helping others, and learn about the products I am using, the recipes I am eating, and the programs I am doing. Plus, I will be sharing my fails, along with my successes. This time though, each time I fail, I will be getting back up and hitting that twice as hard!! Enjoy! Please, feel free to comment, ask questions, and share your own stories!
