I am looking for a feral colony or barn home that has room fire some cats. I have 6 that are so frightened/ semi feral after a month of trying numerous rehab techniques that thy are showing no progress. They are as afraid as the first day they came here. They are fully vetted and fixed, I am just going to need a home where they can live out their days. Please contact me if you know of any places looking for Barn Cats.

I just ended up with 3 bottle babies, you might ask, how did that happen. One of the 8 cats I just took I. Was pregnant, had her kittens and wants nothing to do with them. My bottle baby person passed away 6 years ago and I’m terrified about doing this…

Jasen here, an update! The property has been purchased in Derry. We bought the old Murphy’s property in town on South Chestnut street. I put my own money into the property purchase and gifted it to the shelter. We are excited and I will be starting to talk to some building companies here very soon.

We would appreciate other companies helping us if possible by donating services (Contractors, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Excavation, etc.). This would help us get to our goal of a new building faster. I am currently looking into prebuilt commercial structures and plan on having it fit the look of downtown.

The gofundme is still live and we can use every dollar donated to get the building up so we can help many more cats and kittens in Derry and surrounding communities. We want to be a draw of more traffic into Derry, but we need all the help we can get! If you prefer not to use the gofundme and prefer making a donation in a more traditional fashion, PM me!

I want us to be a part of the revitalization of Derry. Others want to come here too and bring businesses, we just need to work together on this!

Good morning all! It’s so please make your donations to our GoFundMe so we can work towards our new building!

Jasen here, To all of our followers, some exciting news! We are in the process of purchasing land in the Boro of Derry, right on downtown Derry. The flipside of this is that we will need a lot of help as we are going to be building a new cat shelter on this property! We were grateful to get the building in Stahlstown donated to us, however with the many problems we have experienced with it and it continues to deteriorate, it has become cost-prohibitive for us to renovate and open that location. So, our plan is in the Spring/Summer 2021, to break ground on a new cat shelter in Derry which is where the headquarters will be as well.

Now here's the part I don't like doing, we will need financial help. I am looking into loans and grants, as well as contributing my own money into the project to make this dream a reality. I have set up a gofundme for this project. If you can only donate $5, do it, every little bit helps us out! Share with family and friends, share to your FB walls, instagram, twitter, parler, etc. We need our former adopters and followers to step-up and help us here! I am willing to put a lot of my own money and financial security into this project to make it work. The board has discussed this and all agreed that having a building built to our needs and specifications, and on day 1, we walk in and can use it seems to be our best bet. So please help us realize this dream and contribute whatever you can. Make it a part of Giving Tuesday if you need to. If we get this facility built, we can help even more cats than we do currently. We will be able to serve the Derry community and surrounding areas better.
