ARTHOUSE announces “Arrived: Visible Flame & Smoke”
A collection by Senior Chief Fire Photographer Wes Schultz
Sacramento — Shortly before retiring as the line Battalion Chief of the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, Wes Schultz began to carry a camera in his duty vehicle to take pictures at some of the emergency calls. After retiring in 2000, he took his hobby to the next level and began volunteering his photography services officially for Cal Fire/CDF; the U.S. Forest Service; California Office of Emergency Services and Sac Metro. Schultz has won many awards for his poignant and candid shots of fires and the firefighters themselves in the line of duty, and has been published in National Geographic and many fire magazines.
ARTHOUSE is proud to announce the premiere showing of a collection of Wes Schultz’s work, opening to the public on Saturday, September 14, 2013 and continuing through October 6, 2013.
