Reptastic Tegus

Hey everyone thanks again for your support, going to be getting a new tegu soon a male blue, no name yet, but I did get a new puppy a westie mix named kali and my son kameron has gotten so big, here's some pics

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this difficult time, it's been a hard and stressful road too recovery and healing, I home my misfortune can help someone out in a similar situation, it's hard loosing a pet but to loose 4 back too back was very painful, I wanted too give up on reptiles, but something, amazing happened my son who is only 6 mo's old changed my heart, I realized even at a young age he's already developed a love for animals(guess it's in his DNA)he gets very excited when he sees his bearded dragons or any animal especially dogs, so I can't and I won't give up for him

It is with a very heavy and broken heart that I must tell everyoneb i lost 2 of beloved tegus last night, storm and rayne, idk what exactly happened while I was at work but I came home to find my thermostats only reading 9* and I checked on all the reptiles and found them together in their hide unresponsive, i tried warming them up but they were gone, wish I coukd have saved them, RIP my friends, I love you always

I have to say this has been a hellish and very stressful week for myself, my reptiles and my son, words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for 2 very special women machado and hagen for helping us though this tough time, it os from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your kind hearts may you be blessed 10x as much as you have blessed up, its rare to find even 1 person who would help someone when they are down and out and I am blessed to have two people in my life that cares for me, so here's a great big hug from me, kameron, storm, rayne, icyss, sq**rt, saphira and spyro we all love you very much

Just finished prepping the tegus meals for 2 weeks, chicken things, gizzards and hearts, beef liver, pollack fillets, ground turkey and a veggie mix

Getting this for my son kameron, the future tegu wrangler

Only 3.5 wks left til my son is born and wouldn't you know it none of the tegus look like they want to hibernate...go figure only one going down is sq**rt my box turtle

One of these lovely blues will soon be all mines

Well its that time of year, as the temps outside drop I'm starting to see the tegus out less and less, soon they will down for the winter

Sorry guys been working 6 days a week and 10+hours a day in preparation of my sons birth and stocking up on reptile supplies and preparing to move, I promise monday I will post some updated pics of the reptastic crew

Wow...woke up this am to temps outside in the mid 60's, had to turn on extra bulbs, also quite a few dead crickets

So I have seen a few large female crix laying eggs I wonder if any will hatch out

What a fantastic day I'm having, my knee is swollen from an accident at work, car wouldn't start this morning, had too call off, I have my son due in just 3 mos. And to top it all off the beardies brand new $50 lamp just blew out, all I had was a 65 watt bulb that's barely getting the basking platform up to 90, without my car I can't go get another one because I can't walk far....oh and did I mention todays payday and I have a $1000 check sitting at work that I can't get too
