Hummingbirds have a flight system unlike any other bird. They continue to stump mathematicians and engineers as they continue learning more about these birds.
God has specially designed hummingbirds. Generally speaking, birds fly by thrusting forward like a jet. Not hummingbirds they have been specially designed to hover, do somersaults, fly backward, and upside down. There is no other birds or aircrafts capable of this.
Do hummingbirds have wings that were made special by our Creator, or did this just happen by trial and error?

The truth is that we desire to be genuinely understood and loved but cringe at the thought of exposing who we truly are. God did not design us to live in such isolation. He offers us an entirely different way of living.

Is science more important than the word of God? Watch and learn how science could not even be possible without God. Don’t just take our word for it! As you watch this thought-provoking video, interpret the evidence for yourself and take some time to read through the questions.
1. The video asked if you know about these things:
a. Billions of years ago there was an explosion in space.
b. A hundred thousand years ago this or that happened.
c. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2. What is the difference between observational science and historical science?
a. Is one more important than the other?
3. In the video, you learned about historical documents and eye witness accounts. Do you trust these?
4. Do you think observational science shows us the world was created by God?
a. Did anyone see it being created?
b. Are there any historical documents to prove the world was created by God?
To end we learned several things:
1. The Bible is trustworthy.
2. Observational science confirms the Bible.
3. We can observe that the universe is logical and orderly.
4. The universe was no accident.
5. Our brain is able to understand many things.
6. Experiments can only be observed and repeated if the universe consistently obeys the same laws every day. These laws can only be upheld if the lawgiver, God, upholds them.

We will prepare students for their biggest test in college: a test of their hearts and minds.

Students at the University of the Visayas - Cebu can now listen to our college radio station, Street Level Radio, on campus! Last week, we installed Wi-Fi antennas around Main Campus in downtown Cebu, so all you need to do is turn on Wi-Fi and connect to our open network, "StreetLevelRadio." We're thankful to be a part of God's mission at UV and pray this will bring more students to know Him!
