Hollywood's original blonde bombshell Jean Harlow died 87 years ago this week in 1937, at age 26.
She was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park wearing the pink nightgown she had worn in "Saratoga", with a white gardenia in her hands and a touching note from William Powell that read: "Goodnight, my dearest darling."
This January 1935 issue of Screen Book magazine, shows a gorgeous Harlow on the cover, and is available at our June 8, 2024 Hollywood auction.

Measures 10" x 13" inches on heavyweight paper. This Carpenter portrait was part of a series of MGM publicity photos taken to promote Judy's current projects, “Life Begins for Andy Hardy” and “Babes on Broadway.”
During WWII, Judy performed for the troops on various USO tours in the 1940s and participated in the famous Hollywood Caravan tour to boost morale and fundraise for the Army and Navy. She contributed to the war effort through multiple radio broadcasts and charitable initiatives, and brought soldiers to tears when she performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” at the Hollywood Canteen.

This original 1930s scrapbook photo album is packed with original photographs of movie legend Betty Grable. What's amazing about the album is that all the photo captions throughout the album have been handwritten by Grable herself.
A fascinating and intimate personal insight into this legendary movie star's early Hollywood career. It also includes a few autographed 8x10 photos, an extremely scarce 1917 photo of Betty as a baby, and private photos from her marriage to Jackie Coogan.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of the beautiful Janis Paige, who died yesterday at 101. Our June 8 auction features this gorgeous oversized autographed photo of the actress, as well as some personal, handwritten letters from the 1950s.

The pair were close friends from the 1940s until Crawford's death. The documents are housed in Wahn's original file folder labeled “CRAWFORD”.

First edition of Ian Fleming's "Casino Royale", accompanied by three original prop pieces from the first Bond film, "Dr. No" starring Sean Connery.
These original casino chips / plaques can be seen during the legendary, "Bond. James Bond" scene in the movie. They include a Le Cercle/Les Ambassadeurs Club £10 plaque, a £5 plaque, and a £1 chip.
Although not screen-used, the stamped serial numbers align with the numerous plaques loaned by the club to the studio for the production of "Dr. No".

Extremely rare original The Blob (1958) banner for a theatre lobby or drive-in. This giant measures 82" x 24" inches! The banner format is exceptionally unusual as few survive today. They were shipped rolled to the theatres rather than their folded poster counterparts.
