I was trying to get up and I was on my right arm and dragging myself along and I couldn't sit up. I remember that. I was just dragging myself along. Then it was dark. I was just lying there, hopelessly frightened. We went from daylight, to dark, to daylight again so I knew I was there for a long while and then I heard the phone ring. I always count the rings. A little while later it rang again and I thought ‘oh my god, it’s Red Cross’…

Trying to catch up on editing in my office - then I hear this outside, while the greyhound is jumping up and down on the sofa and the cat hisses at the door! 'Red' the king parrot and his girlfriend 'Gloria' are stirring up the other fur kids in the house, hoping that I would go outside to have my afternoon tea while he sings to me...lol
