Wow That’s What I Call Radio with Ashley and Schamain

Hi! Ashley here, just wanted to check in and give my apologies that there hasn't been much happening on the show front over the past month. I've received loads of messages from you all and, let me assure you, the show definitely isn't going anywhere! With the current situation, Ray closed its studio doors in March but is working on plans to open up again pretty soon; guidance dependent. As much as I could during lockdown, I recorded and edited shows at home. This is a very, very time consuming process as I don't have the proper studio equipment; just a microphone and a tablet. I'm working above full time hours at the moment and, along with commitments at another station, I'm in danger of burning myself out. We WILL be back soon and I'll let you know as soon as I do. For me, International Women's Day is about EQUALITY. It is brilliant to see the increase of women in rock music. 50% of new guitarists are now female. YAS GALS👏🏼. It is so good to see the statistics start to level out.

We still have a long way to go. In some parts of the world women are not treated as equals. This needs to change.

Shout outs to all of the men that are fighting for equality. You are SO important. 💪🏼

You can do whatever you set your mind to. Keep fighting the good fight and be kind 🖤⚡
