This week's charity spotlight is Partners for Children and Families. They are conducting a fundraiser on Friday, July 7th at the Given Tufts Bookshop (95 Cherokee Road in Pinehurst). This organization provides a lot of support to the children in Moore County. Your support for this fun event would be greatly appreciated.

West Pines Middle School Interact Students receive their awards from Rotary Club of The Sandhills.
For selfless service and outstanding leadership, Joel Cuthrell is presented Sandhills Rotary Club's Leadership Award for serving as WPMS Interact Club Vice-President 2021-2022 and Club President 2022-2023. The award was presented by Rotarian and School Principal Jennifer Wiley.
Sixth grader Joselynn Earl received Sandhills Rotary Club's Spirit of Rotary Award for her can-do attitude and dedicated commitment to the WPMS Interact Club and its service projects for the school year 2022-2023. Coach Adam Martinez, Interact Club Staff Sponsor, presented the award.

Jersey Mike’s 13th annual month and Day of giving. You can donate when you order online or in either location thru the month of March. During the Day of Giving, on Wednesday, March 29, every single dollar that comes into Jersey Mike’s Aberdeen, or Pinehurst goes to the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills. Our Foundation presenting a grant to Moore Free Charitable Clinic
This week's local charity spotlight goes to Reverie Hill Farm. They have launched a t-shirt fundraising campaign for Life Care! Choose from a variety of shirt options and showcase your support for the beauty of life. Reverie Hill Farm will donate 100% of the proceeds to the ministry. Any additional donations will go directly toward Reverie's pick-your-own flower fields.

This virus is preventable through vaccines and remains endemic in two countries worldwide.
But in recent years, polio vaccination for children in developing countries was disrupted by COVID-19.
In 2021 alone, 25 million children went without vital immunizations that protect against diseases like polio. The world has beaten back this disease significantly, but we must redouble our efforts.
