I was so happy to make a beautiful flower crown to one of dearest friends. She is one of those friends who you don’t have to say much to know what your both thinking. You are beautiful, generous, smart, supportive , creative..seriously the list goes on. Im so grateful for our friendship. Wishing you the happiest birthday!

Happy World Hijab Day
I remember the first day I stepped out of the house with my hijab on. I was wearing a cobalt blue square hijab that was given to me as a gift. It felt a little itchy, it felt loose around my head and snug around my neck.
It was also the first day of 11th grade. That day changed me.
I lost friends but made new ones.
I was scared at times but it made me braver.
When I felt weak, frustrated and tired from constant judgement and assumptions, it made me stronger, and wiser.
I don’t feel alone, I feel connected.
I don’t feel lost, I feel found.
I will always be that flower in the meadow.
And I am perfectly ok with that.
