Anything about the Church
The Sadducees could not conceive heaven beyond what they could see with their naked eyes! Aren't we often like them? We don't recognize spiritual realities because we try to make heaven into an earthly image we can touch and see.
Our doubts about God oftentimes make us think we are useless, we limit God’s influence in our lives.
The CFC-Iligan is currently helping the local church in its campaign against divorce. Now they are collaborating at the parish level to educate couples, especially the young ones. Let’s bear in mind that the church especially the Office Family and Life (FLA) has not yet instituted the Post-Cana program to help couples navigate life in the facet straightway to God’s notable plan in confronting the government's maneuvering to waterdown the marriage bond.
Today we celebrate the solemnity of Corpus Christi. It allows us to reflect on the sacrificial character of the Eucharist. And every time we participate in the celebration of the Eucharist, we participate in the same sacrificial and saving act of Jesus.
What is God's intention for our state in life, whether married or single? Jesus deals with the issue of divorce by taking his hearers back to the beginning of creation and to God's plan for the human race.

Today, the Mother of the Church reigns in Heaven next to her Son; from there, she continues to nurture the Church as a loving mother. She not only intercedes for us but also mediates her Son’s saving grace, making her the ongoing instrument of grace and mother of all.

Despite their confident faith, Jesus warned his disciples that they would be put to the test and would fail.
On this Solemnity of the Lord's Ascension, we look up heavenward because we acknowledge in faith that the Lord has completely been victorious against the alienating power of sin and evil.
Jesus revealed to them the hidden treasure of the heavenly kingdom and he taught them how to pray to the Father in his name.
We will have trials in this present age, but through the eyes of faith, we know the final outcome - complete victory.
