I have some news to share. I would like to announce that I will be slowing down process, to make room for my new position teaching woodshop at Liberal High School. But Tekos woodworks is not stopping. We’re still going to be working on projects but with a slower schedule.

We built this for one of our favorite customers a while ago. This is our dove tail drawers, with two shaker doors. Our favorite drawer box due to design and structural integrity

I’ve seen a lot of posts about phone stands. So I gave it a try!! I used two pieces of scrap oak I had laying around. This build also gave me the excuse to use a homemade ”Ebony Stain” I been wanting to try for a while. I can say I’m happy with the results.

Fun fact!-Ebony stain is made by dissolving a pad of steel wool (historically iron nails) in a quart jar of white vinegar. The iron ions produced by the breakdown of the steel wool react with tannins in wood to produce a black coloration.

Custom made laundry room cabinet

Another custom order I've finished recently, One of the best feelings in the world is FINISHING something.

There are lots of different ways to make drawers, but I made drawers using box joints.

GARDENING SEASON IS HERE!!
Raised garden beds are great for growing small plots of veggies and flowers. They keep pathway weeds from your garden soil, prevent soil compaction, provide good drainage, and serve as a barrier to pests such as slugs and snails. 2ft is $100 4ft is $150, 5.5ft is $210.
