Spontaneous sonic exploration this Friday with at ✨✨✨
Come share in the African sonic medicine and gongs, with some traditional African teas and wisdom. Connect with your ancestors.
Please spread the word 🙏
So back in May, Sisonke and I met up in Glastonbury, and we spoke of sound, life, journeying, plant medicine, and our home on the other side of the world, whilst lying in the green grass looking out over the fields. I was lucky enough to participate in a breathwork session and sound journey on the same day led by him.
DEEP doesn't begin to describe the experience and the level that Sisonke works at. He is iGqirha or a traditional healer/ doctor, breathwork facilitator, and multi-disciplinary artist from South Africa. He combines his innate knowledge of indigenous African wisdom with modern healing modalities in a beautiful poetic and gentle way. I really can't express how excited I am about our upcoming collaboration to enable people in London to experience some true African wisdom first hand in the beautiful location of .h0me. Please spread the word of you know of friends and family that would be interested 🙏

What a pleasure to help support and work with and on their beautiful mini retreat today. Such attention to detail and going above and beyond to create a truly special day for all those that were lucky enough to get a ticket. From goody bags to delicious baking and food, everything was thought of. Thank you 🙏✨❤️
A beautiful evening at tonight with the moon in Scorpio and honouring Ganesha Chaturthi. The rain added an atmospheric layer to the gongs, washing away tension and taking the evening to a deeper level. ✨🌧️🪷🐘
At Monday's New Moon gong bath we spoke about Ganesha briefly. Perhaps it should come as no surprise to me then that he should appear in a cute antique shop window I often walk past after grabbing a coffee yesterday. ✨🙏
FYI - Saturday 7 September marks the start of Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten day festival marking the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed Hindu deity who is revered as the remover of obstacles and Lord of wisdom. So it is an auspicious time for starting new ventures, intellectual pursuits, and business activities.

Next Gong Bath is on Sunday 8th September at Mahala, Crouch End. Details in bio.
The setup at these past months has been great, but really looking forward to the new layout and space created over the past week by Redwan. I can only admire his energy and determination to try new things, improve, and never fear a challenge. Thank you so much for still making space for sound at Mahala 🙏✨❤️
Excited for another month of gong baths in London. Every Sunday at Mahala Crouch End, as well as some other venues. We don't have to go on an exotic holiday in order to relax, we can learn to switch off, and one of the most effective ways to do so is with sound. ✨
Throw back to March when I had the privilege of playing with in South Africa at the most beautiful yoga studio I've ever seen . Although it wasn't possible to bring my own gongs from London, I did bring my beloved drone flute made by the master Guillermo Martinez . I've had it for a year now and it comes to every gong bath, even if I don't play it, its presence is very calming and once I start playing, I have to be very careful not to get too carried away and add another half hour to the gong bath! Thanks to my oldest school friend Colin Stephenson for the great photos (look him up if you need an awesome photographer in the Garden Route, SA).
Although a gong bath or sound journey is a very personal, internal experience, the role of the venue plays an important part in helping you relax. That's why I love playing at Mahala, which feels like a secret portal you never realised was there, a blend of homeliness, comfort and the exotic. After the sounds fade away and you come back into the present moment, there is a distinct feeling of being elsewhere, definitely not in London. Thank you Emily and Redwan, Dominique and Lucas for this magical place. ✨
I've been going to Kirtan at Mantra Lounge .london for almost three years now and it has supported my deepening journey with sound tremendously. The power of mantra continues to teach and guide me, as do the wonderful friends I've made at ML. It was therefore so wonderful to serve this community on Sunday at their Sangha with a little sound during the meditation and invocation. Thank you for having me 🙏✨
Sunday night Gong Baths starting again at helping you end/start the week with presence and focus, and a deep relaxation into yourself. Looking forward to seeing you there. Booking in bio
Halfway through the year and a great time to take stock and recalibrate for the second half. See you at Mahala, Crouch End, booking in bio. ✨🌞🌕
Looking forward to the new month's events, meeting new people and reconnecting with familiar ones. Can't believe it's been over a year of offering group sound ceremonies and how many beautiful people I've met. Thank you all for trusting me and sharing this journey. 🙏🙏🙏
What better way of calming the wedding nerves than with a gong bath the day before, to help ease all the tension, anxiety and butterflies, or just to chill out from running around doing a million things for months leading up to the big day. Such a privilege to play for you, A&M ✨❤️✨
✨Three remaining events for April✨
These intimate gong baths are an ideal opportunity for those of you that would like to experience a more immersive and intentional sound journey.
The studio accommodates six participants on soft futon mattresses, with cushions, bolsters and blankets provided. Using five gongs, a host of Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, rattles, flutes and other instruments, you are surrounded by sound during the two hour ceremony.
To help you prepare for the sound journey we start off by opening sacred space together, then share some blue lotus tea to help you connect with your heart, before doing some gentle breath work to relax the body and calm the mind.
Afterwards there is herbal tea, chocolate and opportunity to journal, share or pick an oracle card if you feel called to. There is no rush and plenty of time to integrate and chat with like-minded individuals. ✨
