LUMINOSITY

It all started with me seeing you
Like a star surrounded by light
Glowing through the darkness
But thats when I realised that
the brighter the light the darker the shadows
You're like a moon giving me a ray of light in my coldest night
But even the moon with a bright ray of light at night, have a dark side that cannot be hide

You're like a sun shining with all his might just to give life to the world, my world
Giving light to the flowers and trees to grow,
Giving energy to all living things, like me
But even with all that I still realised that having a blinding light can keep me from seeing you from my sight

Everything about you is like a balance for me
Even with all the good you have the darkness will still linger around you
Surrounding the poor light that is fighting just to stay glowing and growing

But dont be too bright my light, for that power you hold can blind even you the holder itself
Hear me out, dont be the light whose shining too bright,for a star who burns so hot will soon drain its power and die
So please be the star who burns just right, for that heat will keep you warm enough to win the fight

So keep lighting
Keep glowing
Keep growing
Keep burning
Keep fighting
Because I hope that even in you're darkest times you'll find a way to keep your luminosity within you soaring through the sky,
Because only that way will I also find my way in this world full of darkness
