2nd edition of the Inter High School KhoKho Championship organised by the Nagaland KhoKho Association, 1st March 2024. Viswema Baptist School girls bagged the 1st Runners up ,where Meritsonu Theyo was declared the best Runner in the championship.

Students posing lens with their Participant Certificate at the Olympic Day Run 2023 @ Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima organised by Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) on the theme "LET'S MOVE".
Altogether 15 students competed in various categories.
Ashik Katwal (Class 5) bagged the 2nd position in the 50 meters category (6 years - below 9 years).

Viswema Baptist School participated in the Olympic Day Run organised by the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) on 25th June, 2022 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima under the theme "Together for a Peaceful World".
A total number of 11 students competed in the various categories - Under 12 (400 meters), Under 14 (800 meters), Under 16 (800 meters) and Open Category (1500 meters). It was a proud moment for VBS as two students Ms. Rukusenü Pucho (Class 6) and Ms. Meyonü Pucho (Class 6) begged the second and fourth position in the Under 12 girls category. It is to be mentioned that all the participants were awarded with 'Participant Certificate' signed by IOA President.
The main aim of the school for the participation was to let students learn and experience the spirit of competition with different sorts of people beyond their classroom and to help students build their self confidence by learning to trust their own abilities and talents and also improve their personal value.

As a part of Educational Tour and in observation of World Environment Day, students of Classes 8, 9 and 10 visited Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar on 4th June 2022.
With the aim to let children understand the importance of protecting our environment to keep the homes of animals safe and secure and to create awareness of conserving our nature to maintain the balance of our ecosystem.

As a part of Educational tour and in observation of World Environment Day 2022, Viswema Baptist School will be visiting Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar on 4th June 2022.

WORKSHOP CONDUCTED
Under a Life Skills Education project, Viswema Baptist School conducted a workshop on baking of Namkeen, planting of flowers and painting of walls. The workshop was held on 7th May 2022 at the school premises.
With the aim to teach students the significance of self sustenance and dignity of labour, the workshop was conducted.
Students of classes 9 and 10 participated in the workshop under the supervision of the teachers.

Viswema Baptist School participated in the Viswemi Mass Fruit Tree Plantation Drive that was held on 3rd May 2022 under the theme LO-THE-WU.
The plantation drive was organised by Viswema Baptist Church in preparation of celebrating 100 years of Christianity in Viswema in 2028.
