Happy Birthday Groovie Mann!

Drunken backstage debauchery with old friends Franke (Groovie Mann of Thrill Kill Kult), Ruthie (Lady Galore of Lords of Acid), and myself. This was taken at the Millennium Ball - New Years Eve 2000 - with MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT (Official) and my former group Grim Faeries.

PSYCHO SCIENCE - the newest Reaper Films feature written and directed by my friend Chris Leto. I had a small supporting role in this clever film, and I enjoyed being a part of it. The Blu-Ray release is already sold out, but streaming distribution is currently being finalized, so be sure to keep an eye out.

I'll be in Tampa on June 23rd @ the new NCG Cinema for the premiere screening of my friend Chris Leto's feature film - PSYCHO SCIENCE. I rarely get to attend premiere screenings for productions I've worked on in some capacity, usually due to a conflict with my schedule and location, so it will be a fun evening.

I recently came across some of our old GRIM FAERIES promo flyers and media. I can't believe it's been over 24 years ago that we played the Y2K Millennium Ball with MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT! It's crazy to think that it has been a quarter century ago! This was the first of nearly a dozen engagements that I played with TKK over the years, and I always enjoyed sharing the stage with that crew of misfits.

Im really bummed to hear of the passing of Steve Albini. He produced some of my favorite music over the years, too many great artists to list. He could have easily been pretentious, as he surely had the resume to back it up, but he was the opposite, always taking the time to offer advice when I'd call him with questions. He was definitely one of the good ones in an industry with many bad ones.

I just saw that Mazz Appeal Films' - THE HAUNTING OF JULIA FIELDS - was listed in the 13 horror films to watch in 13 days this past Halloween season on Reveel (Stream TV) Fright Fest! It was super cool to compose underscoring on this feature film. Congrats Mazz!

Over the years, between GRIM FAERIES and MEDIAWHORE, I've had the honor of sharing the stage with MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT nearly a dozen times all over the Southeastern United States. However, this TKK 20th Anniversary Tour show was a bit more special because I booked and co-promoted this particular event (as well as performed).

PSYCHO SCIENCE is the newest feature film coming from my writer/director friend Chris Leto and Reaper Films. "It's Weird Science meets Psycho!" This is a project that I'm excited about, and I'm composing a couple of music tracks for.

I'm doing a collaboration with the uber-talented Stephen Mark Jansen from the former Foley Factory in London. Stephen has done a ton of work for the BBC, ITC, as well as National Geographic TV. I'm excited to see what we come up with.

It is so fulfilling to receive dividends from my TV and film work, more for the honor that the monetary gains represent a continued appreciation for productions I've been a part of. It's never taken for granted, I'm always thankful.
