Prog ukulele duo based in Far North Queensland, Australia But it’s the sheer musicality, the level of their playing that astounds.
Part fiery cabaret, part fire-side chat, Bosko & Honey’s all-original Ukulele Love-In will warm your heart, make you laugh... and shock you to the core! Building audiences around the globe for a decade, Bosko & Honey have developed a fresh and wildly entertaining approach to the ukulele and their live performances. They've played at every major ukulele festival in the country and have been fitting
ly described as “funny, irreverent, theatrical and virtuosic” [NQ Music Press]. Based in the tropical rainforests of Kuranda in FNQ, this gently subversive duo first came to the attention of wider audiences with their “Ukulele Love-In” YouTube videos and the ground-breaking “Ukulele Safari” travel video projects. Bosko & Honey released “Ukulele Safari: Vol 1” in 2010, “Pretty Please” in 2011, the acclaimed “The Universe Will Provide” album in 2014, and recently took home the coveted People’s Choice Award at the Understory Film Festival for their music video, “Another Day In Paradise”. Bosko & Honey are also known for putting their heart and soul into ambitious projects and events that bring people together through music. Whether it be touring the world and Australia on “Ukulele Safari” or hosting the now legendary “Underhouse” concert series beneath their home in Kuranda, these guys are always labouring love on some crazy scheme or another! Most recently they hosted “Ukulele BBQ Kuranda 2015”, a two-day multi-act ukulele event that included concerts, workshops and community group performances.

“... top-shelf entertainers brimming with exuberance and verve. You wouldn’t be surprised to see them in New York, Paris or Sydney... the timing and moves of seasoned actors.... a formidable range of moods and musical styles, and each one is a fully realised story performed with gusto and impeccable timing. How can 8 strings and two voices conjure up so much?”
