Woebegone Goods
Formerly on Etsy now exclusively at woebegonegoods.com
I started this one over the weekend, when I was feeling super frustrated that I haven’t made more progress since the beginning of the year when I reopened the shop.
It often feels like my life is just a long series of getting going good, getting burnt out, losing all the progress I made during the burn out phase, and then restarting.
It’s very frustrating. But still we go on, don’t we, wrats???🐀💚🐀💚🐀💚
Happy belated back to school, but only to the q***r kids.
Literally I could not care less about the rest of y’all.
Also, q***r kids, remember that it’s okay to make b’s, even c’s, d’s, f’s even.
Bc I know half of y’all are stressing out bc you only made a 91 on your quiz.
Grades are over rated, luvs. What’s more important is to learn stuff. And you learn by messing up, not by being perfect.
I made all A’s in school. Literally never made a B (until those classes in college I literally FAILED bc I just wouldn’t do my work for some reason???) And guess what??? I learned NOTHING. I am SO DUMB.
All I ever did was cram just hard enough at the very last minute to get an A with my super sharp short term memory, and literally by the next week all that information would be gone. This did me NO FAVORS in life.
And also I just ended up making dumb little animal drawings and selling them on Etsy anyways. Never once has my gpa impacted my adult life.
Even highly intellectual type jobs like doctors and lawyers, you think anybody in their right minds cares wtf they had on their report card in the 11th grade?!?
It’s important to get over yourselves, luvs.
Remember that.

The alligator eating dude has been my favorite character recently. No body else seems to love him as much as I do, though 💔💔💔 maybe I need to put him in MORE designs
I think maybe MY love language is creating an excessive number of slightly different color variations
Are one direction flops???
I have an idea to do a comic series called worm starts a cult, and eventually at some point in the comic, none of the followers have their own thoughts anymore, only angry worm.
Only issue is, I have no thoughts, only angry worm.
I have a ton of broad ideas for comic series, like one about the cowboy raccoon who is like an unhinged rough around the edges anti hero, one about the possum mom and all the hijinks her kids get into, a sailor moo series about a crime fighting cow called moosagi.
Figuring out what is actually going to happen in each comic strip has been a struggle though.
Hopefully angry worm releases me soon.
This was absolutely not based on an experience I had over the weekend…
Haha, no, I’m totally cool, I promise, no social anxiety to see here, what???
Anyways, this is a lesson on negative beliefs and self fulfilling prophecies. The rabbit was perfectly happy to talk to the naked mole rat. In fact, it was disappointed when it left.
Because the naked mole rat believed it was weird, it acted weird, and THEN the rabbit thought it was weird.
Remember that.
Sometimes in life, we wish to be cute frog, but we are actually ugly frog.
Dare to be ugly frog.
I am starting a series about accepting things as they are. This is the first comic.
If this comic helped your woe be gone, you can purchase it as a sticker in packs of 1, 2, or 3.
They will last a while on notebooks or even dishwashed items like water bottles, but they will not last long on outdoor items like cars.
Everything is trash… except for you. Send this to someone who helps your woe be gone this Valentine’s Day.
The shirt is currently available for sale for $30, free shipping. Can do colors besides light pink if that’s not your cup of tea.
Throw me something, mister. Have a woebegone Mardi Gras, everyone
