Reminder: Next week we are celebrating our 8th graders with their very own 8th Grade Spirit Week!
We would like to give a big shout out to all the parents and students who helped us on Tuesday night with our cup preparation for 8th grade celebration. Our amazing volunteers filled 250 commemorative cups with candy. Each 8th grade student will receive one at the end of the luau celebration on 5/17. They also made 250 ticket wrist bands which will be their currency to get snacks, drinks, pizza and ice cream! Thank you to our Amazing PTO and Parents and Students! We have the best ones!
Sign is up to remind our 8th graders of the fun that awaits them next Friday, May 17th!
A little thank you for Nurse Jill Wolff for taking care of our kiddos all year long! She is so compassionate & caring … we’re lucky to have her at Hollenbeck Middle School!❤️
National Junior Honor Society is partnering with the Pi chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma women educators’ association to hold a food drive to support Operation Backpack, a program that supplies weekend meals to students who are food insecure.
NJHS members will be stopping by to announce the drive and drop off flyers tomorrow.
Hollenbeck’s drive is the largest contributor to Operation Backpack and last year we took in over 1200 pounds of food for them. Let’s see if we can beat it this year. The sixth, seventh, and eighth grade hawk hours that bring in the most food by Friday May 10th will receive a juice and donut breakfast party.
